The food was solid as always at Kingspark. And the price was pretty decent for a meal at only $10 with a hot drink included. Compared to Enjoy 1+1 Cafe that's only a block away, I find the Baked Pork Chop and Tomato on Rice tastes slightly better at Enjoy 1+1, but I find the overall experience at Kingspark better for the clean and cozier environment.
Fairy cozy place with typical HK food. Food is okay, not bad. Parking is a bit difficult. Their drinks are in metal cups, cold drinks cost 50cents more. Take out box is a dollar more.
Standard Hong Kong cafe fare. My friend said this is the "it" spot for Hong Kong-style cafe food. We went for lunch on a holiday weekend and it reminded me a lot of another nearby restaurant E-Canteen. They serve stuff like baked deep fried pork chop on rice, fish ball noodle soup, etc. I made the mistake of ordering minced beef with egg on rice. For some reason I thought the egg would be at least semi-cooked, but it literally was a raw egg hidden under a mountain of beef. After the recommendation of mixing it all together from my brother, it gave it this slimy consistency that didn't exactly stimulate my appetite.
Luckily my brother ordered a spicy XO sauce seafood fried rice that was delicious. His girlfriend ordered the aforementioned pork chop rice that was covered in a ketchup-y sauce that was also quite good. The prices are reasonable many falling around the $10 tax in range, but they also have fancier dishes that involve steak or seafood that makes the cost go up considerably. I'll have to come back again to sample other dishes to see how I really feel about this restaurant, but it's a "like" for now.
Really good!. I've been going to this restaurant after church service for the last 2 years and the food is very good here! the place gets packed every other week because all the people come one week and they think it'll be packed next week so they don't come the next week. The service is a lot better now, you can strike up friendly conversations with the waiters and waitresses and the food comes at a pretty fast pace. Although i must say, the baked goods sometimes comes faster than the stir-fried goods. The drinks are really good. Esp the Milk Tea and the iced lemon tea. If you see an oldish guy in his late 50's - mid 60's making drinks, you're in for a treat. The drinks he makes are awesome and i love the iced milk tea that he makes.
UPDATE: Recently in the last year or so, the prices went up and the servings went down, which ultimately steered me away from eating here. But lately, they've upped their portions again, going back to their original sizes (and possibly even a little bigger) so it's decently worth the price. This is a good place to go to for a quick lunch or bite to eat.

Service is decent but not amazing. My huge group of friends and I stayed for quite a while and they didn't kick us out. Kingspark is great for groups and fast, delicious HK fast food.

Only up to a year ago, it was impossible for anyone to make me sit at a Hong Kong style cafe restaurant; I just simply hated them and would rather go to McDonalds. The reason is, HK style cafes never suited me before and I do not like their menus (IE one item with rice, spaghetti or some other form of carb, or a baked rice/spaghetti dish). So, I would be starving but at the same time torturing myself since when I am picky, I will not touch anything I do not want. However, fast forward to a year later, I do not mind going to HK style cafes when I am not hungry. Or to be entirely honest, occasionally visit HK style cafes when I am feeling scrubby and do not want to be seen by anyone important lol. Walking in, there were a few waiters on the floor and every one of them was friendly as well as professional. We were provided with a few different menus and as usual, I was overwhelmed. When browsing the menus, I usually start by eliminating any beef with vegetable (beef with gai lan, beef wit
The thin layer of baked melted cheese on top added another layer of richness. This was the kind of cream sauce that would not make you sick if you had too much...
I indulged in a Baked Garoupa Florentine on that chilly night. As with all other baked items, this dish was completely coated in cheese! You could probably set it outside in the cold, and the rice would still stay warm, wrapped snuggly in a dairy blanket. The great thing about this dish was that the fish was big enough to span across the elongated bo
I really like the steak from Kingspark, though sometimes its a bit too well done for my liking. Of course it can't compare to a tenderloin or other steak from a "real" steakhouse, but at that price, seriously? What can you ask for? And despite the sauce, there is still a lot of beef flavour to it -- so much that I can taste the steak just by looking at
The lamb rack is juicy and flavorful. It’s as good as it gets. Wish the hot plate could be hotter though. Portion is large! They take both credit card and cash.
The steak is good, but some part is well done, overall, it is a little bit pricey for this food and location.
The ox tongue spaghetti is nice. The sauce strikes a balance between sweet and sour. The chef is also generous in providing the food.
The seafood fried noodle also demonstrates the chef's skills. The fried noodle is crispy but not oily. The chef is also generous in providing the food.
The Hong Kong style milk tea is also silky.
Indeed generosity is a trademark of this restaurant. We can pack the leftovers for another meal. Having regard to the high cost of living in British Columbia, the food is worthy for money as the price for a single dish can be spread into two meals.
Social distance is also practiced in this restaurant.
Love how most dishes come with a complimentary hot beverage in a neat heat preserving steel mug. The ox tongue spaghetti was very good here because they actually put in lots of thick pieces of ox tongue so it's nice and meaty.
Great place for a Hong Kong style breakfast on an early weekend morning. Fast service, quite many selectiond on their breakfast menu. Friendly and clean amenities. Recommended.
It's a decent place for cheap meals in the area. The dishes can be hit or miss, especially if you're not a fan of HK style cafes and unfamiliar with the menu. I always recommend the Portuguese-style Baked Pork Chop on Rice and Hong Kong Milk Tea. It's delicious! The place is quite spacious as well.
Traditional HK cafe at its best still exists. Their baked pork chop rice is spectacular. Lots of spacing due to covid and they accept credit card as well
