Delicious food in variety, very friendly, generous in portion with bonus, lovely people. I am Canadian and I love persian food and Kako Kabob is an awesome place to enjoy persian food in perfection. Try it! Don't miss it.
This is really a no-frills diner, situated on the side of a small neighborhood plaza, with barely a dozen seats at a counter. The decor has nothing to write home about; and in fact, on looks alone, you would probably never walk in there.
But you'd be missing on some great food! The food! Oh my god! Tasty meat and chicken skewers, grilled to perfection and juicy. And tasty, tasty Persian rice!
Everything is really of excellent quality and bang-on cooking, done on coal, just like in Iran (I'm Persian and I remember this from my few short years in Iran).
If decor is of importance to you, then I recommend to call ahead your order, and come pick it up and devour it at home, with friends if possible.... You constantly see local Persians come in and take their food away; they must know something others don't :-)
Fantastic Persian fast food! Had lunch and dinner, both excellent. It's all fresh and cooked to order. The rice is bang on, the meat perfectly cooked and very tasty!
Great food. My experience was great! The shop owners were nice and the koobideh kebobs were juicy and flavourful, rice was fluffy and buttery. They were so nice they gave me some of their tah dig (crispy rice) and ghormeh sabzi in addition to taste. My mother and granny make great iranian food but I gotta say they are just as good :) will go back when I'm itching and craving for iranian food when mom not available!
I am a pro in Persian KABAB/KEBOB/BBQ and I give it 9.9 out of 10.
Price is really lower than other persian restaurant but better quality.

BEST KEBAB IN RICHMONDHILL. Honestly, its the best place i've ever been too. Not just because of they have good service, but also their food tastes REALLY GOOD.... i love their combo thats has koobideh, jujeh and shishilik. cheap and awesome tastes.. worth to spend my money on!
