Good food! Their portions are fairly large. I have tried almost everything (schnitzel, skewers, lamb, baba ganoush, hummus, roasted vegetables, fries, roasted potatoes, etc.) and they are all tasty. Some of their dishes, like the rice is very dry and has no taste, and their Caesar salads are sometimes drenched in the sauce, but otherwise nice place for lunch or dinner.

If I have to highlight only one from what this restaurant offers, freshly made pita/laffa is never resistible! It could be said some dishes are overpriced, but in general, dishes are good and generous. It would be worth to note that this restaurant is typically crowded during the core meal hours. Seat setting is not so great and you may be seated at a table too close to others without much of space to place your chairs comfortably.
Great service, good selection, excellent food, large portions, lots of parking, clean washrooms. Very good experience over all. Would return. Recommended for sure for good Israeli food!

This is a fine restaurant that keeps improving.
I've been a regular of Me Va Me (Bathurst + Rutherford) for many years. They recently spruced up their menu and have a new Israeli chef. The quality of the food is always fresh and delicious (for starters, the basket of laffa that comes to the table), and there are some obvious improvements in the food presentation now (the house salad, for example, has a new clear and flavorful balsamic dressing.) They even have new crockery with a more authentically Middle Eastern look. I recently ordered the Marrakesh salmon: a beautiful piece of fresh salmon with a spicy coating, along with a side plate of rice.
The service is very friendly and attentive. There is a new lunch menu, available until 3:30 p.m. on weekdays, which offers a bountiful full meal for $20. I've always found the decor and spacious atmosphere to be one of the appealing features of this restaurant, and there is lots of free parking. I like the fact that there is no "noise pollution" in the form of loud music ... just the sounds of people enjoying themselves in a quality restaurant. Well worth a visit.
Everything was excellent. I ordered grill delight, meat and chicken were soft and tasty. Additionally they brought salad i love it too. But best part was the homemade fresh pita ⭐️
