So my husband and I are beginning random date nights and writing down restaurants we haven't been to before and pick one outta a hat kinda thing... anyway last night was The Keg!!
When we 1st got there we sat down and waited and no one came to see us, so we did walk out and were waiting for a cab (mind you we didn't know that the waitress was dealing with a large table) so the manager caught us outside just as the cab was about to arrive and offered us 2 free appies and 2 drinks and apologized about the situation.. well who can see no to free food lol
So we go inside and the staff were so amazing and were giving us recommendations and the server and manager were very attentive... just as we were about to go to another place the manager so saved our night and the server lol
But not only the service was amazing but that food was so delicious and most definitely the 1st of many trips back to The Keg, specially at this location 🤤❤️🤤
Michael Angelo was the bar manager and he made this visit one of the best experiences we have had. Our server was busy and he stepped in to help and was delightful, even offered us a delicious complimentary billy miner pie!

I have been meaning to post a review since my family and I were there for supper last Saturday. We were out to celebrate my dad’s retirement and I had made reservations for a late supper time. Unfortunately, when we got there, I was told our table was not ready. Twenty minutes later and it was still not ready. We were a table of 8 with two kids and by then we were very hungry. I was getting disappointed because it was supposed to be a night of celebrating my dad and here he was waiting for a table. The host came to apologize and stated the manager would escort us to our table himself. The bar manager, Michael Angelo, came out, apologized, and escorted us to our table - ensuring us we would receive the best care. He even made sure my husband who is celiac was well taken care of. Angelo was right - we were well taken care of. And looking around at other tables, I know the service would still have been exceptional even if we didn’t have the issue with wait time. The servers and Angelo were very attentive and made sure my dad felt special. The best part was when they shook hands with my dad and congratulated him. My dad has lived his life being the nicest human being even when faced with rudeness. He was so surprised and happy with the hand shake and the attention around him. Thank you Angelo and staff for treating my dad and the rest of us with respect. We will definitely come here again.
We went to this Keg Steakhouse south Regina. They took food allergies very seriously. They were professional and kind regarding taking extra steps to ensure no cross contamination and cleaning cooking areas. We can't thank this Keg Steakhouse enough for a wonderful experience and kindness. To the Manager and our waiter, to the cooks thank you so much for treating us so well and kindly. Thank you
Allergy friendly. Great service, great staff, a most enjoyable dining experience. We ordered a Neptune dish, and Prime Rib, and they were both outstanding. The food was delicious, fresh, and prepared to perfection. The warm bread appetizer was soooo good! Our server Grace was absolutely wonderful, and it was really nice to chat with Michael Angelo the manager, as well. I felt totally safe eating there with a severe peanut/nut/pea allergy, and was even spoiled with an amazing allergy safe creme brule for dessert!! A wonderful evening and meal at the Keg South Regina. Thank you so much!!
