Can I get a Woot! Woot! for the win!?! Yes indeed. Our experience tonight at Avenue firmly cemented, that it is not only, our favourite new restaurant but also Regina’s best.
From the moment you walk in the door you feel at home and also as the ultimate guest who deserves to be looked after. The decor and ambiance start that feeling. And then comes the show.
The service was incredible. Suggestions on drink orders after asking what we liked, discussions on personal and fan favourite for food or even the personal touch that seemed to come with each moment at the table made our experience unique, fun and just what was needed. Are there server awards? There must be and so we nominate all of Avenue staff for the top place. Our server was by far the best we have ever experienced anywhere across North America and he made the atmosphere and food that much better.
The food is so good it’s actually stupid. Starting with beef tartare( also the best we have ever had), shrimp, burger and to the closer of the creme caramel, the presentation, smells and profound flavours have no comparison to anything else.
There is much much more I could say about our time there but better for you to experience the wonder that is Avenue yourself. Don’t walk, don’t run, just get there now.
Walked over in the rain, without a reservation, hoping to try this place on the eve of our 28th Anniversary.... well.....they knocked it out of the park. The food and service are top notch. Thanks to our server, Kayley B, and the birthday boy Taylor, and to everyone, for making our experience personable and amazing. Highly recommend!!
We had a great time here. Friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere, and fantastic food. We had a few appetizers, and I tried the beef Wellington.
Stayed for some extra drinks as well.
Lovely heritage building and interior decor. Service was very friendly. The beef wellington was worth every penny. Most of the appetizers were great, especially the brie. I'd skip the shrimp next time as they are just deep fried shrimp. The wine was good, however we ordered a 2014 bottle and they brought a 2015. Small improvements could be made but overall I would certainly visit again.
We sat at the bar, and WOW. We asked the bartenders to make their favorite drinks and took their recommendations. It did not disappoint. My sisters and I (party of 3) ordered 5 cocktails each, beef tartare (x3) and the Brie to share. We have never (even in Montreal) ordered seconds, if not THIRDS, or as many cocktails in one sitting. This is THE place to be in Regina. 10/10 would recommend and come back.

Cocktails were amazing, the beef Wellington was to die for and the service was absolutely amazing!! Staff even accommodated my allergies and made cocktails that originally had vodka in it. Overall 10/10 experience highly recommend this place for a cute date night or even just a night out by yourself
Avenue is what Regina's food scene needed. Most higher end restaurants in Regina are steakhouses or franchises with no personality. Avenues checks most of my boxes for a good restaurant. Tasty food, great service, amazing venue, good location and fair prices.
Although I loved the old open concept design, but the new partitions make sense and they give an intimate feel to the place.
You should give Avenue at least one try.
The food was just phenomenal! The drinks spectacular! The service was so friendly and amazing. The atmosphere was so fresh and unique. The layout, the decor...I even loved all the plants! What a wonderful experience!
The agnolotti was everything you’d want in pasta. Perfectly house made Al dente agnolotti. Creamy ricotta with a hint of basil. Paradoxically rich and light cream sauce (how do they do that??). Peas and shaved Parmesan round out this amazing pasta dish. Shrimp perfectly seasoned Just a perfect plate of pasta.
And don’t get me started on the cocktails. If you aren’t going here to try their original and delicious cocktails, you need to start now. Go. Now.
Big fan! It’s got a New York City vibe, with high ceilings, modern decor and an ambiance that oozes upscale yet chill. Food selection was superb, with lots of meat dishes but some vegetarian choices. Priced appropriately, and well worth the value and quality of the food.
The detail in the preparation was amazing, all the dishes (from chicken wings to trout) were bursting with flavours that left me wanting to try many more menu items!
