The Pho here is the best in the city ! The hot wings are also a pleasent surprise and the pricing is good. I really enjoy this place.
We found some really great food and great service here!
We were passing through town and stopped here for food. It was fast, service was friendly and prices reasonable. I enjoyed the noodles they were perfectly cooked. (I hate when they get over cooked and are too soft) I would stop here again. It wasn’t the best I had but it was good.
Decided to go for some Phó tonight and Thap Ba was our first choice. The service was quick, real quick. We got our salad rolls and spring rolls before our drinks came!!! The food is fresh and simple. It’s homecooking Vietnamese style...don’t expect a lavish restaurant or modern decor. It’s got that hole in the wall type of feel. And the cost is great. We both ate and we’re stuffed for less than 30.00. If you want some quick, simple, fresh and delicious soup...this is the place to go.
Kept hearing about these fantastic Vietnamese subs on Zomato. Finally, we placed an order for 2 different subs the special Vietnamese and Vietnamese sausage also beef stir fry chow mein. Those subs were fresh and exciting and we wanted more.
My rating and review were based on a takeout order. Service was prompt, friendly and restaurant looked clean and well maintained. There is a beautiful shrine as you open the front door to bring peace and goodwill to all who enter.
I recommend trying the subs and will be going back ASAP.
We had Vietnamese subs and they were quite tasty. Fresh, crusty buns, lots of veg and pickle and the satay had a good heat. Just a note, the prices have gone up slightly since the menu was posted but are still quite reasonable, the subs were $7.50 each.
My favorite restaurant in Red Deer. Get there early for lunch, cause it's often lined out the door.
Best Vietnamese restaurant in Red Deer. I always get the vermicelli bowl and my boyfriend gets the hue style noodle bowl. And we both keep coming back for more. The price is really good for how much you get. The service is always awesome! The people who work here are always friendly.
House special noodle soup is amazing....food is always amazing. Only issue is the serving. Family run business and horrible servers. Be prepared to wait for everything.
Most authentic Vietnamese in Red Deer by far ! I've back packed through Vietnam all over and ate many local foods, this is the most comparable. staff is always friendly. Do not leave without trying the special salad rolls !!
The presentation isn't that of a fancy place but if your looking for authentic Vietnamese don't hold it to western standards. You probably will be greeted by one of the owners little boy. He's super cute!
I really like their vermicelli bowls and their marinated meats. It was a good portion. Their pho bowls, however, are just okay. I have tried better pho bowls in larger cities, but I would say the better Vietnamese restaurant in this part of town and would recommend it.
I really enjoyed the Hue style noodles. It had a good broth with pork balls and meat, unlike many restaurants that only use beef, taking away from the authenticity. The presentation wasn't much to look at, but the taste will leave you satisfied.
