New Year's day was our very first experience here. Wow! I don't know how else to put it. The food was delicious! The staff were amazing! We will be back again and again. Two thumbs up (I'd give more if I had more thumbs haha)
By far the best service I received at a restaurant so far. They made sure to keep our drinks full and the food came out fast. I had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. The mixed veggies on my plate were the best part. Meatloaf was a little to spicy for me but it was still good.
I think it was the best experience in a while honestly. And the building wasn't cold for a change!
The food was great, the steak could have had a bit better chat but was good, though the coffee always seems to taste burnt no matter when we come, but it fresh and filled often. The service was on point. The waitress was fast, and she was very nice.
Went with our friends for Sunday lunch. They were able to seat us all together as a group. The service was fast, the food good.
Food is great taste wise, it's hit or miss if the cook actually knows what a soft poached egg is, but they're really good at medium poached eggs. Service is super and they're good with kids, if you get one of the older ladies, the younger ones have better things to do, it seems. Overall 3.5/5
Out server from this morning is always so nice, and she remembers our names even after months of not being there! I always forget her name darn it, but she has glasses, short dark hair and is just so pleasant, we love her. Promote her!!! It's cozy inside, and roomy too. Lots of close parking. Great all around place!
Monte Cristo is a favourite of mine, but occasionally I come for breakfast. Today's sausage and eggs with pancakes was just okay. The sausage doesn't seem as good as it was years ago.
TO THE OWNER: You should be ashamed of yourself, there was 1 staff member serving the entire floor this morning, the bus boy had to take our order nd pour us coffee because the waitress was so busy, get your act together, ive never saw staff work so hard in my life.
My meal was delicious, the restaurant was freaking immaculate considering the short staffed environment and i wish the staff here better than what the owner is currently providing to them. You could of eaten off of the tables without plates, it was amazing to see people so dedicated to their job.
The food was alright, nothing fancy, but filling. The waitresses were kind, prompt and friendly, as they always are. Your staff are excellent and keep us coming back.
Today was my 1st time trying this restaurant in red deer I have tried it in other towns and this one by far surpassed all the other ones. The restaurant was clean our waitress was amazing and friendly and the food was perfect, hot and fast. Best breakfast in red deer so far for me. I like the diner/ truck stop style breakfasts.
