I was very impressed by this little rustic restaurant. It was a two person operation that night but I thought they did a magnificent job. Food was fast and very good.
We started with escargot and French onion soup. Escargot was a little gritty but garlic sauce was excellent. Soup was awesome and no shortage of cheese on top. Feel bad for the guy washing the dishes. I had venison ravioli which was excellent and my colleague had the steak and frites. Would recommend both dishes and this restaurant.
Escargots: good. Duck Confit: good. Venison Ravioli: very good.
Good wine selection.
Location on rue Saint Paul is a big plus in terms of parking availability.
The food is simply delicious. We tried the mussels, escargot, blood sausage and pasta. All were amazing, I particularly liked the escargot. It was soft and flavourful, I'd highly recommend it. The salad accompanying the blood sausage was a great touch, the combination of the two is delicious. The mussels are incredible, I like how they come served in the pot they were cooked in. Prices are super reasonable. The downside is the awfully slow service, we waited 20 minutes for menus and over an hour for food. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone who is prepared to wait.
