Amazing meal. First off- ypu must sit at the bar. Service by Alexis is stellar. Goat cheese appetizer, beef tartar appetizer. Delicious. Potato gnocchi, with mushroom and shrimp in lobster sauce was fantastic. We even had dessert - white chocolate dome with strawberry. I don't like white chocolate yet I loved it. Wonderful meal.
Best beer tartare in Québec for sure. One of the best I've ever had. Great wine selection. Professional and friendly staff. My go to place in Québec. Never dissapints.
Wanted to try French cuisine and enjoyed my experience for St. Valentine's. Daniel and Sandra were absolutely wonderful and were just a pleasure to talk to. The food was rich in flavor and was very delicious. They offered to hang my coat for me and provided excellent service and made sure my water glass was filled. The wine was very good as well. On street parking is available but you will have to take a short walk. If you're staying in the nearby hotels it's an easy location to walk to.
Cozy restaurant with great service & wine collections. We went during the duck festival where they had a price fix menu for $65. This included 2 appetizers (Dumpling Soup & Savoury Cake) followed by Duck breast seared with deep fried rhubarb. The dessert was a phenomenal chocolate macaroon with duck fat cream.
The recommended wine was a Pinot, which paired well with the various duck courses.
Prices were set at the higher end, but worth the walk down to the old port.
Amazing food! Everything we were served was superb.
Best meal we've had in QB and one of the top meals we've had in all of our travels.

Exceptional dinner with delicious food, excellent service and good wine. Did the 3 appetizers, dessert and a bottle of wine and each was superb. Very impressed by the food! Plated well and each dish was delightful. I've never had lamb so perfectly done.
Such a lovely place. We didn’t have reservations so we sat at the bar. We had a great time with Alex the bartender. Everyone there was so nice and friendly. They recommended their speciality and famous dishes, like their goat cheese dish.. so yummy! Everything was delicious! Thank you for a memorable evening!
Service is friendly, the place is neat (thought tables are cramped), and the lunch sets are economical. However, the food lacks the flavor it should have. The soup was watery. The fish was bland. The steak doesn’t have the right cut. There are nicer food in the city.
What an amazing experience - their reputation for excellence is well-deserved. I tried getting in earlier than my 8pm reservation but no dice - they were absolutely full. Came back at my scheduled time and was immediately seated in a cozy corner. I ordered a cocktail called "Sour;" gin, cucumber, lime juice, and something else, and it was so delicious and refreshing. My oysters were delicious, and my bavette was fabulous. My server (who was taking care of eight tables that I could tell) was knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly, plus she acquiesced when I asked to speak French instead of English. So, so delicious! Highly recommended!
