Wanted to try French cuisine and enjoyed my experience for St. Valentine's. Daniel and Sandra were absolutely wonderful and were just a pleasure to talk to. The food was rich in flavor and was very delicious. They offered to hang my coat for me and provided excellent service and made sure my water glass was filled. The wine was very good as well. On street parking is available but you will have to take a short walk. If you're staying in the nearby hotels it's an easy location to walk to.

Cozy restaurant with great service & wine collections. We went during the duck festival where they had a price fix menu for $65. This included 2 appetizers (Dumpling Soup & Savoury Cake) followed by Duck breast seared with deep fried rhubarb. The dessert was a phenomenal chocolate macaroon with duck fat cream.
The recommended wine was a Pinot, which paired well with the various duck courses.
Prices were set at the higher end, but worth the walk down to the old port.

Their famous beef tartar is okay... but I had better elsewhere. I'm not sure if it tastes good because of the strong garlic; originally beef tartar should taste good because of the freshness. Also their choice of potato is... not pleasant. I had to eat it with overly sweet ketchup.

Amazing food! Everything we were served was superb.
Best meal we've had in QB and one of the top meals we've had in all of our travels.
The service was excellent and menu fairly priced for the quality.

Exceptional dinner with delicious food, excellent service and good wine. Did the 3 appetizers, dessert and a bottle of wine and each was superb. Very impressed by the food! Plated well and each dish was delightful. I've never had lamb so perfectly done.

Such a lovely place. We didn’t have reservations so we sat at the bar. We had a great time with Alex the bartender. Everyone there was so nice and friendly. They recommended their speciality and famous dishes, like their goat cheese dish.. so yummy! Everything was delicious! Thank you for a memorable evening!

Service is friendly, the place is neat (thought tables are cramped), and the lunch sets are economical. However, the food lacks the flavor it should have. The soup was watery. The fish was bland. The steak doesn’t have the right cut. There are nicer food in the city.

What an amazing experience - their reputation for excellence is well-deserved. I tried getting in earlier than my 8pm reservation but no dice - they were absolutely full. Came back at my scheduled time and was immediately seated in a cozy corner. I ordered a cocktail called "Sour;" gin, cucumber, lime juice, and something else, and it was so delicious and refreshing. My oysters were delicious, and my bavette was fabulous. My server (who was taking care of eight tables that I could tell) was knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly, plus she acquiesced when I asked to speak French instead of English. So, so delicious! Highly recommended!

We visited this restaurant twice during our three nights in Quebec, the first time was delightful, the second time the food was very mediocre. I must note however that our server was terrific both visits. Gaspacho was like salad dressing and the salad a soggy mess of awful dressing and tiny protein to star the dish. On our first visit we paid a very generous 25% tip on a three course meal; but due to our terrible experience the second time we decided not to tip, which resulted in the gentleman who took our payment chasing us out onto the street telling us to come back and pay more. All in all disappointed we wasted our last night in this beautiful city on a mediocre meal and still shocked that we were publicly humiliated by staff as we tried to politely depart after paying top dollar for an awful meal.

Amazing meal. First off- ypu must sit at the bar. Service by Alexis is stellar. Goat cheese appetizer, beef tartar appetizer. Delicious. Potato gnocchi, with mushroom and shrimp in lobster sauce was fantastic. We even had dessert - white chocolate dome with strawberry. I don't like white chocolate yet I loved it. Wonderful meal.

Parfait !!! Absolument rien de négatif à dire. Trilogie de tartares....foie gras... boudin...petoncles... cerf ... crème brûlée et tarte aux marrons(conseillé par notre serveur) tout tout tout était délicieux. Excellent service.

Props to the chef because the food was amazing!!! Delicious and ambience was wonderful!! The service we received from our server was NOT good. He was not attentive to our table whilst making sure his other 'locals' tables were well taken care of. Came back once during our entire dinner service while attending to his other tables 5 and 6 times. My husband and I were on our honeymoon. I would NOT recommend coming here and would not return.

We stopped in for an after dinner drink with our family and we were impressed with the atmosphere and friendly service. My wife and I went back for dinner the following night. Even though they were very busy,Wilson and the rest of the staff treated us like their best customers. The food was very good, service...superb.

Le service est excellent.Mon ris de veau superbe alors que mon entrée de trois tartares aurait gagné à être plus relevée . Le soir du 15 novembre le niveau sonore de certains clients rendait toute conversation impossible. Pour moi c'est suffisant pour que j'aille voir ailleurs la prochaine fois.
