Definitely love Sophia's kitchen. It's a great place to eat. Just as good as a home cooked meal. It don't taste like most places were the food is full of grease and ect. Also perfect costumer serves. I can see this going to be a long lasting place for many years to come. My opinion can't find 1 thing to complain about and I'm a very judgmental person when it comes to my food. Just ask my wife most places we go I'm always complaining. This is the only place in Peterborough I can go to and feel like everything is perfect. Good job to everyone and Sophias kitchen. Keep up the good work and may the future bring you many years and greatness to come.
Today was my first time going to this restaurant and I can say enough of how great this place was. Been to a lot of different smaller restaurants, in and around Peterborough, and this may be the best place I've ever eaten at.
Went in not expecting much but once going in and right away being greeted at the door with a smile and a hello. My husband and I brought our 10 month old daughter and right away she was complimented and offered a free ice cream. If you have a small child, you know how hard it is to find a place that is child friendly!
I ordered the pountine, which was perfectly cooked ( crispy fries) and cheese melted very well. My husband ordered the "Hail Mary" which was 4 meat paddies with melted cheese, everywhere we go he gets a burger, he has had a variety of burgers, and this made his top 5 easy.
And last but no least, the Old Fashion milkshake was a very nice treat to end everything off �

This is definitely one of the best (probably the best) poutins I've ever tried. Sophia was super kind and she even put a little compliment with the order. I think I'm ready to make another 150 km trip from Toronto just to eat this gorgeous poutine one more time. ❤

Honestly, this is the kind of experience I would expect walking into a high class restaurant in Toronto. It is under 10$ for pretty well everything on the menu, and the portions are GREAT, the customer service is FANTASTIC and the owner is LOVELY.
I am SO impressed and I would recommend this place to EVERYONE.
The owner Pat is probably the nicest person you'll meet in your life and the food is awesome. I've had several items from the menu and everything I've had has been delicious.
Do yourself a favour and try it out, it's located in a place you may not often thing to go when you want to get food, but its worth going out of you way for.
Love the souvlaki!!!! Been craving to go back all week. However I do feel the food is too good to be served cafeteria style. Other then that it's a great place to stop in for some great food and friendly service. Would highly recommend and will be back.
Sophia’s food is absolutely amazing! And she is such a wonderful and sweet person too. We stopped to order some quick bite on our way out of Peterborough and we were not disappointed. Sophia’s poutine is the best!
