I am aware of past employees. Being horrible I am positive some bad reviews stem from them . Homemade batter, tartar sauce and great fish . The Nicholls oval burger is Stellar !!!!!! And one of my favorite places to get battered shrimp. The owners are good people and the staff is friendly go there ....... go there now !
The food is fantastic, and the staff even more so!! I had ordered the fish and chips for take out a few weeks ago and they were amazing. Today, I had the BEST Paleo burger I've had in Peterborough. The meat was fresh, not frozen, they used real cheese and accompanying vegetables were fresh and crisp. I will definitely not only go there again, but recommend the to everyone I know.
BEST EVER HALIBUT AND CHIPS IN TOWN. I moved to Oshawa for over twenty years so rediscovering food quality and my current restaurant go to's in my hometown. This is it for fish and chips (even Haddock special spectacular and I'm NOT A Haddock lady.) Reasonable pricing and extremely friendly staff.
Great food, just on the inconsistent side at times but I do enjoy their home fries for breakfast. Could use better coffee than the cheap kind they use. Many local coffee houses they could buy fresh beans from within Peterborough. But overall good food and clean place to visit. Extra parking located along the bike trail just steps away. Staff is always friendly and courteous.
