The food was excellent (seriously, get the mushy peas) and the outside eating area was great (especially for people with littles). The servers/bar staff were all super friendly. A bit of a wait for food, but it was crazy busy so we were ok with that. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Parksville!

Excellent food and very friendly service. Beers on tap included Fullers London Pride and ESB. Would certainly recommend a meal or just a drink

Absolutely loved this pub! Even down to ordering & paying at the bar. The food was amazing would satisfy an hungry man/ women, great selection of beers & ales, was also nice seeing young families have a lovely dinner out in the beautiful garden. I 100% recommend going to the Black goose if only for their Bread pudding with custard which was nearly As good as my Mums.
