Someone on the management side has made positive changes recently. There is better service and fresh new menu. The Barrhaven Mow was absolutely a 3 star venue at best. We (family of 4) visited 3 times from 2014 to 2016 and we decided not to return. But I stopped in for a beer 2 months ago, and we've been back twice since. The new menu is amazing. The Pub Curry, and the Mac n' Cheese dishes are VERY good (both are better with some Goose Island Honker's ale). The service is excellent. Give this spot another chance, you won't be disappointed.

Better than expected!

Dropped in here with a large group and had low expectations. That changed as I enjoyed the roti wrap while bf had pub curry. We both appreciated quality of our dishes and portion size. Service was very good -- esp considering size of our group.

I will be back ! :)

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Extremely impressed! I had the eggs Benedict and my husband had the breakfast poutine. This food was prepared by someone who cares about what they send out.

Fresh ingredients and everything homemade. Nothing frozen or reheated here.

Came for a decent meal, though was frightened by so many negative reviews. Had good pub burgers (veggie burger was great!) and pints. Came on a Friday night, good atmosphere, live music, busy but not too much so. Service was attentive also.

Don't listen to any of these reviews.. Barley mow is a great place to go for a beer.. I feel like the people that post all these negative comments about bars are the kind of people that are impossible to please no matter how good the place is.. They should just stay home.. And no I don't work for barley mow..

Great wing night.. I can only comment on their wing night because you would never find me in this overpriced lacklustre establishment otherwise. Wing are great and you also get fries for 5$ on Wednesday. Almost comparable to Clocktowers wings.

I can't comment on their breakfast as I've never had it. But dinner? I've eaten there regularly for over a year. And for good reason. Unlike most other restos, this is one of the few that works hard to make things distinctive and not opting for the McFood menu offerings. I've nothing but positive things to say about the service too. They consistently work hard to accommodate my particular dietary requirements. And frankly that means a lot to me.

This place is awesome! The service is always quick and friendly with a smile. The food is always fresh and done to perfection. The washrooms are clean and up to date. There is a T.V viewable from any corner and there is probably over 20 taps to choose from! Weather I am just coming in for a bite to eat, to have a few drinks while some friends and I watch a big game, or to listen to the always awesome live music, this is my go-to choice every time! Highly recommended!

Its great.. Very peaceful. Whenever a new person arrives, you could literally hear a pin drop.

The beers are usually wet, the food normally wet and the female are also usually ...

I feel at home here.. Mind you my home is on wheels and sketchy.
