I think this is the best breakfast around. Beautifully done home fries, perfectly cooked bacon and the Best pancakes I've had in the city . So I can forgive the eggs being cooked ever so slightly too fast - little bit of that crispy netting on the whites. I would like to try their lunch sometime. The staff which may be the owners have been there forever and are so kind and friendly. Large restaurant very sparse and basic decor. Give it a try , you wont be disappointed.
A tasty and quick place to grab a bite. It's rarely busy so you almost always get your food in under 10 minutes. You aren't going to get the best meal of your life here but you are going to get a predictable and solid meal.

Great food, i started going 1997, first year university for breakfast when was @$ 4.25, 15 years and breakfast still @ $4.50 for eggs & meat, potatoes and coffee. not only breakfast as well as pizza, clubs and burgers and proud to say this place serve fresh ingredients , wonder why this place serve ottawa u for 50 years!!!!beer on tap not molson or labatt's, sleeman or upper canada.pitcher for $ 10.00.great price for pints.
I came here for a late lunch on a Saturday when I realized that they were still serving breakfast. I ended up ordering a beer and veggie omelette with toast and home fries that were pretty good. Though this location is definitely not fancy, I found it to be a good spot to grab a quick bite, drink, and share comfort food with friends.

A little pricey for pitchers of beer (rounding off over $20.00, 4types, mostly premium)
Yet they have a variety of cocktail pitchers.
Dinner to split between the two of us we had the fish n chips, pea soup - that will warm your heart and 190% stick to your bones.
Had a pitcher and a tequila shot each - not the best, refered as "tequila bang bang".
In the end a bill of over $55.00 and very satisfied. Will try the breakfast for sure.
I'd recommend for sure if you've got a few dollars to spare for a very delicious well made homemade meal!

Good place to go for a drink, not too busy at off hours. Good location close to the university. Didn't try the food.

In the area, I don't think you'll get a more reasonably priced meal. It feels like you're eating a home cooked meal. The food is made with a lots of love and care - you can taste it in every bite. The owners treat their customers like family. The breakfast special is fantastic! Chicken Parm / Hot Turkey sandwhich / Canadian Pizza are some of my favorite items on the menu. It's worth stopping in if you're in the area.

This place is so underrated! The food is always made soo good, they have a cheap alcohol menu AND the staff is super cool and welcoming! I've been going there for about 4 years now and its still the same amazing service, most definitely because it's a family company!

Great prices for brews and snacks
Good place and good prices. They give you a very nice amount of fries on the burger platter. They make you feel comfortable and if you are looking for a place to study in the afternoon, this is a good option.
