Only good option I've found for pad Thai in Orleans! Fast and a good price.
O.k. to good. Stopped by here recently for lunch and went with the pad thai chicken and chicken dumplings in peanut sauce. Both items were good. This seems to be the only location that offers chicken dumplings?
To compare this location to other Thai Express locations: I would rate this a bit higher than ST. Laurent but not quite as good as the Prom. du Portage location
Good, But Not Great. I've been to Thai Express twice. The first time was down right disappointing, but it was during the first week so perhaps the staff was new. The curry to rice ratio was way-off. Too much rice, not enough curry.
I went back last week and it was much, much better. I ordered the Red Curry again, and the ratio was much better. I asked for extra spicy and got what I asked for. It was tasty, but there wasn't very much chicken in it compared to other Thai places in town, but I suppose you get what you pay for.
I am still on the hunt for a good Thai restaurant in Ottawa...or at least one that can equal Kingston's "Bangkok Village".
Yummy!. Took advantage of a recent Groupon deal for this place. Very good service. No wait in line. Had the Beef Pad Sew, the Beef Pad Thai, and the Chicken Dumplings. All were very tasty dishes.
