Ordered take out for lunch today. Very fresh and great sushi. I am actually impressed by the quality of the product. Fair prices and reasonable delivery time.
Last night I had a craving for sushi; did a search on Zomato and found this great place.
The first room was fairly inviting but the second one was more welcoming. We went for an early dinner 5:30 and only a handful of tables were occupied. By the end of the meal, the place was packed.
It's a laid back environment; most people were in their 30s. Service was decent at the table and the guy at the cash was friendly.
The freshness of the food was undeniable and the flow of the orders was good. In all-you-can- eat standard, Hokkaido might not be the best tasting but the most fresh I've had so far. It's worth the try.
Fantastic! Top quality items that were all fresh too. Great soups and salads. Delicious edamame and chicken dishes. Loved the maki and sushi.
Came here for dinner. Services was pretty good, though 3 or 4 times they tried to bring me something they'd already brought out. Flavours were generally good and everything tasted fresh.
One thing I like is their menu actually told you what was in their rolls so you don't have to guess. Though they don't have the iPad ordering, it's just on paper.
Not amazing but consistently good. I agree with what most of the other commenters are saying by "middle of the road" I've never had anything that I needed to send back and it is usually very fresh but nothing out special.
Great value for AYCE sushi in the market. They have a sizeable menu with very good sashimi quality for the price. Lunch gets very busy, so wait times and service can get slow. I recommend showing up early if you're dining with a larger party.
Had a great lunch here today! The sushi was great, and everyone I went for lunch with enjoyed it. The service was super fast, which was great during the typically slow lunch-hour.
Sort of middle of the road as far as all you can eat sushi places go. Even when it isn't hugely busy they often forget or omit to bring dishes which always leaves us confused as to whether we ought to re order or just give up on the forgotten items.
Pretty good place to go if you're craving sushi for lunch while downtown.
Compared to other ayce places, selection is fairly limited. Menu is pretty standard, most of the more unique items are dinner only, and prices are comparable. There are more creative dinner items in the other ayce sushi places around town, however.
Food was alright, but not anything special. Fairly average. Fresh vegetables, cooked well, right temperature.
Service was as expected for an ayce place - not terrible, but could be better. They brought the three of us to a booth and it had only place settings for two people. I had to request a third after our first orders arrived. Kitchen is a little on the slow side when it comes to hot foods (like chicken teriyaki and tempura). They also forgot an order, but I find that happens quite often. If you want to keep track of your order more precisely, take a photo of your order sheet. Or ask your server if there's more food to come, they've usually been able to tell us (save for a few times when the billet was tossed already). The servers were prompt about coming around to collect dishes and order billets.
Overall, good place to go if you're in the mood for ayce sushi while downtown.
Katsu Don. Great presentation, simple palitable, flavourful. Done right
