I'm was struggling to find good restaurants on UberEATS until I found Gladstone. I've ordered from there several times now and I've tried their BBQ Chicken Poutine, Jamaican Patties, Samosas, BBQ Chicken Caesar Salad, Goat and Lamb. They are all amazing but I've got to say, the Jamaican Parties and Samosas are the best.
If you're on UberEATS, order from this place. I promise you'll love it!
Did Uber eats. Someone called immediately to say they ran out of wings (I ordered very late). She offered roasted
Chicken in its place and it was delicious! I also got the mix and match appetizer. I got samosa and Jamaican patties- also good. I would definitely order from here again.
What a pleasant little surprise this place was. The Haitian rice was decadent and cooked in a rich shrimp broth. The plantain were tasty and not too oily. The chicken was tender, perfectly cooked, crispy, although a tad too salty for my palate which admittedly likes lower sodium meals. My girlfriend did not agree on the chicken being overly salty. Overall, excellent service and I will be going back soon for my chicken fix. Oh and can't forget that awesome mom and pops vibe you get into there.
Delicious BBQ chicken. The extra sauce on the side of the poutine is very spicy! Tried the BBQ chicken poutine and a half chicken combo. Also the gingembre has a great ginger flavour, very refreshing.
Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere.. I most definitely lucked out when I decided to quickly stop for a bite to eat at the Gladstone Golden Grill.
I had the following combo: 1/4 chicken, attieke, and alloco. The chicken was delicious, which is good because it seems to be the staple dish for this restaurant. The attieke (couscous with a light salsa) tasted nice and fresh, most definitely worth the three extra dollars. It was probably my favourite part of the meal. Then there were the alloco (plantains) that were a bit heavier, which complimented the chicken and attieke well. All and all, this is a great place to grab a meal, especially after a long day.

Atmosphere: 7/10 (There is a television, which doesn't bother me, but I thought I'd include that tidbit here.)
Location: 4/10 (There was nothing around and the street seemed a bit run down.)
Delicious Chicken. This little place on Gladstone has quickly become a favourite of ours. The chicken is incredible, the sides are so good (plantains, rice, couscous). I am hoping these folks stay in the neighbourhood for a long time because the food is just amazing.
If you're getting take-out, you may want to bring cash. They do accept debit, but if the machine is out for a delivery you may have to wait a few minutes for it to return.
Food is delicious! Portions are huge! The staff are very friendly! I love this place!

[Halal restaurant] Hearty Healthy Food. It's a simple restaurant with good food. Home-cooked type stuff.
We had bbq poutine, nothing special. The lamb and chicken and grilled veggies were good.
The staff is fast and friendly.
I would recommend this restaurant for some soul food.
p.s. the food is halal, they claim.
Hidden Gem. The neighborhood is awful, but this place rocks. They make a mean bird.
