we had a decent experience at sushi village but it is a bit on the expensive side. they have all you can eat menu. ottawa has many places to eat sushi, this is one of the better ones.
Best sushi place ๐๐๐ salmon roll , chicken teriyaki, miso soup, calamari deep fry was so crunchy, loved the ginger and flavoured wasabi ๐ sushi at its best just melts in your mouth giving you the best sushi taste.. service is quick and ambience is good too .. overall 9/10 Definitely visiting again for more sushi rolls
Quality of sashimi was above anything I expected! Sushi and miso soup was delicious and satisfying. The service was prompt and food came out at a decent speed....would definitly come back again!
best place to go to with your friends for a lunch break, even dinner, especially when you study in uottawa. Very convenient location to get to from campus and i was never disappointed by this place. My friends and I have been eating there for almost a year now, and i finally feel like i should write something here to give this restaurant more exposure and this place definitely deserves it. Very nice and kind servers and the service has always been great.
sashimi was always fresh. I was very impressed by the quality of their service though i went at a very busy time. My friends and i were never ignored by the servers and our food came out quickly. We never had to ask for more water as they would walk around the restaurant and refill your glass for you as soon as they saw it was empty.
There wasn't anything really special about this place; I got takeout, so maybe it would be better if I had of dined-in. I got the fried rice which was good, and the steamed shrimp and steamed pork dumplings, and those were both quite bland.
We always go for AYCE sushi at lunch time because the price is right and the service is faster so we haven't encountered the service issues others seem to have. Huge menu with lots of vegetarian options although be warned that the deep fried tofu arrives with fish flakes unless you specifically request otherwise!
Went last night for dinner. I only had the sashimi, but it was all very fresh. I particularly liked the red tuna & salmon.
The service was good considering we were a big group. The food all came, they didn't forget anything, and the service was prompt.
I would definitely go back.
Sushi Village is consider (in my own opinion) the best sushi place you could go! The food their were design beautifully and the taste to match. The surrounding is comforting and the interior are fairly lovely. The sevices was excellent. The service are always active and ready to take your order.
Pleasant Surprise. I thought it was really decent. The food, the service and the lunch prices were all good. Maybe not the best sushi in town, but definitely not the worst either. It's very similar to the one in Orleans. It was better than Ken's Japanese, the restaurant that use to be there before Sushi Village. It's also brand new and clean.
