The Special 1 (Bun cha Hanoi) is the best seller there. Great food cooked by an amazing chef who is also the owner. You should try the Pho there too my most fav Vietnamese restaurant in Ottawa

Fantastic food. Went there with my family for lunch. Very good spring rolls and pho. My daughter had Pad Thai, and she said it was delicious. I had chicken Pho, also yummy. Beef and chicken skewers are amazing

One of the first things I noticed about Ottawa’s Chinatown was the immense number Vietnamese restaurants. We might as well rename it “Vietnamese town”. It seems that on every block there is at least one, if not more, Vietnamese restaurant. It can get confusing since most seem to have the words pho, bo and ga in it. Which literally means noodles, beef and chicken.

My favourite dish to get here is the bun bo Hue – the spicy Hue-style beef noodle soup. They definitely get a thumbs up for this because this dish is not on the menu of all Vietnamese restaurants. Their take on it is not the most traditional, as they are missing the pork blood but I actually prefer it this way. Also unique to this restaurant is the fact they serve both the spring rolls using the pastry paper as well as with the rice paper. This way you have a choice, depending on your preference! (I personally prefer the pastry paper but Aaron likes the rice paper.) They also have dishes that I have not seen often in other restaurants to satisfy all your Vietnamese food cravings. For example, they serve bo la lot (beef wrapped with betel leaf), bun cha (grilled pork patties served with veggies and vermicelli) and bo kho (beef stew served with noodles of your choice). Their bun cha is actually not that bad and pretty authentic. The bo kho is a little too fatty for me.

For the true Northern Vietnamese taste of food, I always come here. The broth for pho isn't too sweet and doesn't taste like it has added sugar like other places. Fresh rolls, spring rolls and bun cha also taste like home for me, unlike the other places. This is pretty much the closest thing to Hanoian pho that I can find in Ottawa. Friendly service and quiet place. The only thing I would not recommend are the bubble tea options on the menu.

The bun cha hanoi is a must! We travelled to Vietnam and have been craving this dish ever since. Try it, you won't be disappointed! The place is clean and service is ok.

Very clean, family run restaurant, the daughter who serves us on the weekends is welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. The pho is made from bone broth, and the sprouts and basil that accompany it are always very fresh. My husband and I have cravings for the pho - it is a cure-all for whatever ails you! We've tried other places in ottawa, even tried making it at home - this is the BEST!!!

Very good Vietnamese food! Food quantity or portion size is huge. Very affordable pricing. Staff are friendly but busy. Peak times might see delays. Bun bo Hue has a decent beef soup but not excellent. Bun cha Ha Noi is my favourite and has excellent pork meat balls. Some dishes have plenty of fragrant leaf salads, carrot shreds, bean sprouts or cabbage shreds of decent quality. Fragrances from leaves and some liquids cab be overwhelming. Friendly service.

This place is great! Their grilled chicken and pork with rice dish is one of the best dishes I've had. I love their vermicelli too. The interior is cozy and really pretty, and the owners are nice. The prices are also very affordable and portions are huge. The son working there is really sweet.

I had a delicious Bun bo hue soup (spicey beef noodle soup) S02 at Pho Tuan the other day and I think you would like it too. The restaurant is clean, prices fair and the family running the restaurant are friendly. If you like my reviews, videos or photos give them a pho tuan's thumbs up

Great food. We had Phở Dặc Biệt and Bún bò Huế. Everything was very tasty. Very friendly family run restaurant. Recommend it if you are looking for good Vietnamese food.

Amazing food. We went here to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant only allowed 2 tables of seating at the time of my visit. I ordered a Han Nói Vermicelli, my wife had a vermicelli with homemade meatballs, spring rolls and grilled shrimps, and my daughter had a small pho with beef and meatballs. Dinner was amazing. Pho broth had great flavour. I couldnt finished my dinner. It was so big, big enough to share between 2 people. My wife's vermicelli had so much meat and assorted herbs. Dinner for a family of 3 with only water and I also had a take home bun bo hue came $72 with tips. Worth every penny.

This place serves the absolute best Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef and pork soup) in town, hands down. They cook it the traditional way, clean broth topped with fried chili and lemongrass, not a spice mix like most other restaurants. Their Bun Cha Hanoi is out of this world and they’re the only restaurant I know of serving it this traditional a must try. Haven’t tried their actual pho yet, but have heard it’s great as well. Prices are amazingly reasonable.

My absolute favorite place hands down to get pho in the city. The family run restaurant is quick on the orders and the flavors are exponentially better than those around the area. They also have traditional 'Hanoi Style' dishes that I haven't had anywhere else. Definitely try the "Hanoi Special", you won't be disappointed!

I come here for the bun Cha Ha noi! So delicious and always crave for it! Haven't found it in any other Vietnamese restaurants in Ottawa. Service is great. Owner was very nice when we interacted with her. Would recommend Pho Tuan! 😺👍 - @kiengstagram
