Such a great place with authentic Izakaya food! A hidden gem in Centretown
This was my first time coming to this restaurant and I was truly excited to try something different. The service was incredible all throughout!! They helped my friend and I if we had questions and they were so polite. I ended up getting the tuna poke bowl with brown rice. I also had had the raw octopus doused in wasabi with seaweed/nori it was truly different however extremely delicious. It was definitely something I had never tried before. For desert, I had black sesame seed ice cream. However, apart from the great atmosphere, they had a little cotton candy machine! This way you can make your own cotton candy for free!! Oh what fun!! I definitely do recommend!!!
Amazing poke bowls! try the fired salmon, I come back for it time and again! They also have good WiFi. Been there for lunch only. highly recommended.
Went here for supper last week. We ordered the Miso Chicken Poke bowl and the Pork Jab burrito. Both were delicious. All the ingredients were healthy and fresh and all my food was made to order. I would advise going here for supper rather than lunch if ypu are in a rush as there is usually a 30 minutes wait for food.
Came here last night for dinner, and ended up ordering a poke-bowl. The ingredients were fresh and flavourful, and they had more unique options than most poke or burrito places I've seen. The portions were pretty generous, however the price can quickly add up if you're customizing it, so be aware of that. The price is a little on the steep side ($8 for a burrito, $8.50 for a poke bowl as a base), but then adding any type of protein (around $4 each on average) or premium topping (around $1 for avocado or kale for example) is extra.
For the total cost, I did find it a bit on the higher side, but the quality & service really was top notch.
Super healthy, amazing sushi burritos! Must-try. The burritos are made fresh and are ready within 10-15 minutes. You can order from a small selection or customize your own. They also serve poke-bowls, which are filled with fresh ingredients and an abundance of rice (choose white or brown for either your sushi burrito or your poke-bowl). Sides are not necessary because the portions are quite generous, although I did try the takoyaki (fried octopus ball) - I've had better. Stick to the sushi burritos and the poke bowls :)
