Excellent pancakes. Sausages had great flavour, well cooked, taste good but probably not good for you! :) poached egg and toast perfectly done. Bridgehead coffee is a welcome bonus. In my opinion the best out of the 2 leading diners in the area for breakfast.
Good old fashioned dinner food - not bad at all. I have had omelettes of all kinds there and they are quite enjoyable. Love the beans they serve as a side.

One of the best spots in Kanata, family friendly, fast service and fun atmosphere. The portions are huge, their Bridgehead coffee Zak's blend is great. This place has been a classic family owned restaurant that always impresses. I highly recommend the milkshakes, burgers and home made desserts. 2 thumbs up!
Great service. Friendly staff. I went there twice with friends and got some great food and milkshakes. They write on their milkshake menu "Its very huge" and it is surely huge. I just loved the food and ambience. The city map they have on wall for Ottawa is eye catching.
Super quick service and foods consistent and good. It's a great breakfast spot and they have free wifi for work meetings. Love their shakes too.
Food and service are always great. Prices are pretty reasonable, they always get the food out to you quickly. Every single time I've gone, I always see the same guy working there, and he's just great. The food is always great as well. I've gone at 11pm with a large group of friends and the quality of the food and service is just as great as it is at any other time of the day. I recommend the Zak's big breakfast, their caesar wrap, their milkshakes, and their chicken wings. The atmosphere is a lot better at this location than the one downtown, and the decor is a lot nicer.
Nice atmosphere, good food. Came here with my two friends. Spacious, relaxed, I was there on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy. There's a mix of people, some groups were teenagers like us, some families, some seniors. Everyone's definitely welcome there.
We each had a strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate banana milkshake. All of them were great, large portion size, and chocolate banana was my favourite. It was $6 plus tip, which is kinda pricey just for a milkshake.
We shared nachos with guacamole, which was pretty good. Between the three of us it was a filling snack, which is what we were looking for.
Nice place to hang out and grab a bite to eat.
Food was great, as always. The diner seemed under staffed when we went for supper Thursday night. Our waitress was doing a bit of everything & seemed over whelmed...didn't have time to check in & see how our food was.
