I first went to rogers Italian bistro a couple years ago, and I really enjoyed the food and service! The pricing and the portions are very good! Deffinatly be back.
We were in for breakfast and I have to say that the breakfast was serve fast and our plate was hot. They are efficient and the place is clean. We only had breakfast and I was impress with the food and the taste. I will have to go and try the diner menu and it may upgrade the rating. Good potential
Found this restaurant while waiting for service at a different establishment. When arrived for a later dinner with my wife and son, we were seated promptly and our order taken. We enjoyed our meals and will be back.
I have eaten at this restaurant multiple times and each time I have been very satisfied with my food choices as have all my dinner companions. Food is good, try the spaghetti with meat sauce and fresh sautéed mushrooms and green peppers on top. For the price, (which is very reasonable) Give it a try- but don't expect authentic Italian with homemade pasta.
They food is really good. Have Lasagna, best in the city. Pizzas are great. Appetizars, garlic bread, Bruschetta and Antipasto.....Good. I know bad reviews but I have been there many times...Every time really good and the service excellent!!!!! And excellent prices!!!! Kathy and Thelma
We just found out that they started serving breakfast a few months ago. It was awesome! Fresh fruits, my favourite breakfast potatoes and the eggs were done just the way I asked. I have a gluten intolerance and they kindly catered to my needs! Thank you Roger's!
Tuesday my wife and I headed to Rogers Italian Bistro ( 500 Terminal Avenue, Ottawa ) for dinner out. We had been eyeing this Italian restaurant since it opened in May 2013, but was unsure if was any good as we had walked by previously to find not many people either inside the restaurant. As well the restaurant's patio was also void of customers. But the patio problems are probably a result of the patio overlooking exhaust spewing Terminal Avenue on one side and the back strip mall dumpster area of Ottawa Train Yards . Inside the restaurant looked a lot more promising with a modern tiled interior and brown leather booth style seating. Accompanied by a prompt hostess attention and seating, things were looking good. On their old website they claimed to have 25 years of experience while being the second generation of Italian restaurateurs following in the footsteps of parents with 40 years of experience. Best Italian restaurant I've been to in a long time. Thank you google for recommending it. Food was excellent. We had the chicken parmigiano and combination plate (veal or chicken parmigiano, lasagna and spaghetti). Strongly recommended. Eva offered us excellent service and contributed to the overall great experience. Will definitely be going back.
My wife found the place and took me out for a birthday lunch. It's a nice place, comfortable but not overly fancy. Food was really great especially when you consider the price. Our lunch combo was only $14 for a large salad and lasagna. Hot buns were served as well. There is a large variety of items on the menu, including a tempting dessert list.
Service was friendly. We would definitely be back.
Had breakfast. It was DELICIOUS! Great menu - not large, which is good, very tasty, which is important, very well served, which is fun, and very reasonably priced, which is a bonus! Highly recommended for a good quality nourishing Canadian breakfast meal! I hope you enjoy your meal as much as we did...😁👍

This restaurant is extraordinary! The food is delicious (made to order), the service is friendly and the décor is inviting. Oh, and did I mention that the prices are unbelievable... how about a nice personal size lasagna, salad and dinner roll for only $15! It was delectable! I've been going there for breakfast too, which is very good. You get 2 eggs, meat, potatoes, toast, fruit cup (which they bring out before the breakfast) and coffee all for just $9! Impossible you say? Go see for yourself! Except on Mondays; they're closed. ;-)
Overall nice experience, cozy atmosphere good food and reasonable prices
We tried alfredo chicken fettuccine and alfredo sea food fettuccine. The pasta was delicious and the quantity was good as well.
Great food, generous portions and nice ambiance. I went with my team and the food was super good, especially the fettuccini (highly recommend). The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice too. The portions were excellent, even though we went at lunch time! The service was great too. I will be back :)
