I recently returned to Mandarin Ogilvie after ousting them from my list of regular restaurants last year. The food has always been very good but the service had been getting progressively worse. To the point of feeling like they literally did not want us there.

It seems that since our break, they have made some changes for the better. The same people seem to be managing the place but they brought in new wait staff. Much more friendly and competent than the owners serving tables themselves.

Will be returning in the near future. Hopefully they keep up with the improvements!

My favourite restaurant in ottawa always delicious...with friendly solid service.
One of the owners Johnny is always good for a few laughs.

A delicious place! I love the way dim sum works here and service is quick. Whenever we ask for anything, it is always quickly provided. I've been coming here for years with family and will keep on doing so.
