Simply Biscotti is a wonderful bakery where they have delectable treats and the best Americano coffee in Ottawa. The staff is wonderful and they have a fabulous patio with a fountain where you can escape and relax for a while. My all time favourite place to go on break�
Love Simply Biscotti! Wonderful service and staff! I have had a number of their cakes (chocolate caramel, red velvet...) but my favourite has to be the carrot cake - simply beautiful and absolutely delicious - it was perfect for my husband's 40th birthday cake - thank you!
The staff were very friendly. We had coffee and biscotti’s and both were excellent. Very very reasonable prices as well. We will definitely be back

There is a huge selection of affordably priced tasty desserts, all to be washed down with their fresh coffee.
Service is fast and friendly. Only downside is the cramped location, hard to move when there is a line-up.
Cute little pastry shop in the middle of Little Italy. They have such a gorgeous selection of treats, it's really hard to choose. The service is very friendly, and you can sit in and enjoy your treat if you want, although it's very small. I like to take it to go. Definitely going to come back and try more of what they have to offer.
High-quality biscotti in a huge assortment of flavors. There are a few tables inside making it a nice spot to grab a biscotti and a coffee, but I tend to get my treats to go.
Delicious tiramisu!!! So light and done right. I haven't been here before the other night and I was overwhelmed with the options of desserts. The outside patio was a nice spot on the warm evening to go have the dessert, but there is extra seating on the second floor of the shop too.
Great addition to the neighbourhood, Simply Biscotti is a long-time favourite I still visit on Preston Street. And thank goodness, they sell more than just biscotti. The Colonnade location has a very spacious interior, topped only by friendly, appreciative service and high quality baked goods for all occasions. Whether for breakfast, lunch or special dessert to bring to a dinner-party, all baking is spot-on delicious. This location does not have my all-time favourite Kouignette (available at Richmond Road location). Finally, espresso is perfect, just like the other two locations. Simply delicious!
The desserts at Simply Biscotti are dangerously yummy! Butter tarts are out of this world and the Americano coffee really hits the spot. It's very authentic and true to Italy. Super small establishment with minimal seating but nice servers and tons of patio space during the summer. Definitely stop by on your afternoon Preston Street stroll

Desserts, amazing. Food? Not so much. I do like every dessert I've tried there, always really good and reasonably priced. My favourite is the chocolate cream filled pastry and the little Macarons. However the savoury items have been hit or miss. I've tried three paninis, the first one was a simple ham and cheese. It wasn't nearly toasted by the time they served it to me, and was so dry, just bread, ham and cheese which for 8$ seemed pricey. The second sandwich was amazing, a scone with cream cheese and smoked salmon, I think it was a special that day. Warmed up enough and so creamy and great. My third sandwich was also a special, and was roasted chicken with gauc, arugula and roasted red peppers on marbled rye. A great size for the price and was decent. I thought the gauc tasted pre prepared though and the chicken also tasted like a prepared product, but as a whole it tasted good and was filling. My major disappointment was the 5.50$ greek salad. The veggies tasted as though they had been sitting out all day in the heat, the feta had zero taste and the tomatos were chewy and inedible. I ended up tossing it after a few bites.
I will still continue to go and try sandwiches and desserts but I'll probably avoid the salads until I see some sort of refrigeration or fresh preparation for them unfortunately.
Fly me to the moon. This place is the greatest. The desserts to the coffee to the staff and to the owner Rosa. I would like to address Desiree-white as a trash talker dolt but I will move on to a positive review.
I am in the neighborhood a lot and SB is one of those places that makes you stop in. The lobster tail is more than special. All the cheese cakes are amazing and the eclairs are my favorites. You will find no better desserts and people at SB. Don't listen to brats that write bad reviews about her chocolate cakes. Some people are just not meant for this world. I dream about this Rosa and thank her for her dream fulfilled. The proof is in the line ups and second location. God bless.
I loved this place. One of the best service and the staff.. recommended place for breakfast.. lots of choice on food.. the coffee was good too. Quite big place and lot of seating indoor and outdoor available.
The sandwiches felt fresh.. the coffee had quite good richness in it. There are lots of pastries to try and also wide variety of cakes too.. the place was clean and well maintained. Free parking available outside the cafe.
Came here on Thursday morning around 10am. It was not too busy. Service was quick. Seating available indoor and outdoor patio. Vaccine proof checked for indoor dining
The almond croissants are amazing- Crunchy, moist and the filling is not too sweet. The scones are equally as delicious! I personally love the plain scone as the crust is the perfect texture of soft/crispy. The latte today did not disappoint.
I will recommend and will return!

Even though I am not a fan of biscotti in the first place, I have to admit that their biscotti are really good.
50 minutes roundtrip from my place, but worth the trip.
The only issue is they only have one location, too bad because it is an amazing bakery.
I chose the raspberry rose cake from the menu online, ordered by email, and received confirmation very quickly. It was ready at my requested time. The cake was beyond my expectations! Moist cake and the raspberry buttercream was so fresh. We also took home some biscotti and it was lovely. I can't wait to go back!
We ordered the double chocolate cake for my husband's birthday and everybody raved about it. It is weirdly hard to find a reasonably priced and moist cake in Ottawa, and this was so yummy, and reasonably priced. Everyone was asking where it was from!
This place is amazing. Great friendly staff. Awesome coffee and baked goods. I will be back for sure. Will miss you until next time.
Love their tea latte! They have fruity tea option and also lactose free milk/soy milk. Saw they have great desert too! Definitely coming back to try them out!

To bad you can't really see it from outside.
I think it will help attract much more customers if they're put out some better signs outside. But in probably one of the best cafés in Ottawa.
