I came here to get some baked goods for me and a coworker. I came pretty close to closing so there wasn't too much to choose from but I was kindly offered some pie bars and lemon loaf that had just come out of the oven. I assume they were being baked in order to be offered up as sacrifice to some unknown diety because that is what they should be used for. I am 95% convinced that those pie bars are actually the firmament, the universe exists so that they can exist and they exist so that the universe can exist. That is how all encompassingly good they are. How you are able to make the lemon loaf so tangy and lemony I will never know but I assume it is some sort of Faustian bargain. I don't believe in perfection but for your baked goods I will make an exception
Great little treasure. Go there after the pool 2-3 times a week. Fab soups. Today's was a beet, red pepper with almonds. Preserves are wonderful. Love that they are carrying Suzy Q donuts on the weekend. Even though it's a 15 minute drive there's no need to go to the west end. Love this little place. They also offer a small patio to just sit read have a coffee and a muffin.
One on the best bakeries in the National Capital Region, hands down ! Fresh products, great variety, generous portions. The ice cream truck is a true gem and a must during summer. Their lattes (especially the matcha latte and honey lavender latte) are excellent. The service is friendly, professional and makes the customers feel welcome.
This third wave café is a must in Ottawa! The quality and originality of the products, the incredible and super creative employees and their involvement in the community make us want to go back. A great place to get quality coffee and unique products. It is really worth the detour!

Red Door Provisions is an unmatched gem in Ottawa. Calling it a coffee shop alone is a major disservice because it is so much more! Wine, beer, baked goods, dinners to go… they do it all and they do it to incredibly high standards! Add to that a selection of the best damn coffee in the city… you can’t go wrong here.
Also, they have incredible safety measures in place, which are so appreciated especially when bringing unvaccinated little ones!
Fantastic cafe with the kindest staff. The drinks are on point and in the summer if you can get your hands on the gluten free dairy free ice cream sandwich you’ll be doing yourself a favour. It worth the drive across the city to come here
Huge fan of the honey lavender lattes at Red Door! Always a nice treat and their vegan sandwiches and goodies are always great. On the higher end price point in the Beechwood area.
