Best fajitas. Good food and awesome drinks. Perfect for a date or boys night. Friendly staff as well. They don't offer free chips and dip anymore. I think it's a dollar now? Still worth it!

Glad to say Lone Star Hunt Club reached out to me and invited me back to their restaurant. Thrilled to say that we had a great visit all around. Excellent service and great food. I had the New York Striploin and my wife had fajitas.
Was a great experience overall. We did have to wait 5 minutes to be seated even though the restaurant was not full we were told we were waiting for a waitress to come and show us to our seats. We ordered and food was delivered fast and was hot. My one complaint is that it felt like we were being rushed. There were plenty of tables free yet we were constantly being checked on and asked if we were still picking away at things when we clearly had our mouths full of food. I think it was the male manager but he was being a bit touchy and very close with the female staff members. It's a bit awkward and I can only imagine what the employees feel about that.
I came here for lunch during the week one day. I tried their salmon, and asked for extra veggies with it. The portion of veggies they brought was quite large, and I was pleasantly surprised. The salmon itself was a little overcooked (but barely) and still quite delicious, the flavours of the marinade were excellent.
The service was a little on the slow side, and we had to flag down our server a few times. But overall, it was quite good. I would certainly go back.
We went to lone star for fajitas and a drink. First night was great second night was great also.
I have issue with the lounge area and the first come first served for the booths in the area. It was extremely busy our second night and we waiting in the lounge for our hostess to notify us when our table was ready. We waited at least 40 mins and noticed a table was leaving the lounge. My 8yo daughter went over to the emptying table and turned to wave is over when another patron (a 50ish woman) said to her "I beat you kid, too bad".
I was appalled and told the woman she should be ashamed of herself!
It would be a better experience for all their waiting if the seating in the lounge was in the seating cue not a no holds barred one for all hot chairs competition.
Other than that...staff and food was great. Manager was forward and friendly.
when I arrive the lane was long and I knew I was going to wait for a long time, but at my surprise 15 to 20 after my arrival I was seated. Are waiter was really nice and funny (Congrats Shotgun) Everytime we needed something he was there in a minute. He also toke the time to explain a little bit on the menu because it was are first time there. For me and my friends the dinner was nice, even if we were only French person at my table are waiter did his best and for that he deserve atleast 11/10 but for the place and all the other thing in the restaurant a 8/10..... We will definitely go back even if its an hour from home!!!good job Lonestar grew....
Cabo Tacos. Chicken, bacon, and avocados all in a taco. How can you not?
Wonderful experience!. We have eaten here three times since it opened and my family just loves the place. We celebrated 3 birthdays so far at the Hunt Club location and the service has been top notch. They made us feel like family and even though the place was packed we all felt very comfortable. I have eaten at all the Lone Stars in Ottawa and I would say the food here tastes the freshest and the portions are very generous....This place is a must!

We ordered the steak fajitas for two people. It was extremely delicious. Even though I ordered the steak well done, it was still juicy and full of flavor. The tortillas were also delicious, they were soft and chewy. The toppings were great , came with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, etc.
You also get free chips and salsa as appetizers.
The service was fast.
Where they lost a star was on the pricing. I felt like it was expensive for what we ordered. The portion of steak was only enough for one person and the toppings were scarce (and they charge for refills). Though, it was expensive, I would come again, but not too often.
Loved the alligator tales starter that we got. Never tried them before but were actually tasty. Our server was Bailey and she was great. I love the ambience, the servers are fantastic and warm.
We ordered fish tacos, sautéed shrimps, a steak and the portions were actually generous.
Firstly you get chips and salsa for free so honestly you don’t even need to order a starter
Second thing I loved was the Mexican bull dog cocktail. Absolutely delicious.
I did not enjoy the Mexican poutine and I found the sautéed shrimps to be abit bland. It ddnt quite feel like we got value for money because you could literally count the pieces of shrimp on the plate and cost was about $16 or so.
The fish tacos and curly fries were good. My steak was cooked medium well and tasted good
Honestly , the food was average with a few exception. I gave a 5 rating because overall it wasn’t a bad experience.
The fish tacos are delicious, large, and filling! Our server was so friendly and our group had a great time (the margaritas might have helped as well). Definitely would recommend!
Food and drinks were good, servers are nice.... lost a star cause we had to wait almost an hour for mains on a tuesday night.
Always great fajitas, not the same homemade fajitas bread as I remember from way back when. Churos dangerously delicious should be two caramels! Great service. Update: They have fixed loud squeeky noise coming from the kitchen! :)
Great atmosphere, our waitress was so sweet, tasty food, huge and stuffing plates.
