Our favourite pizza place in Ottawa. Absolutely delicious every time. Definitely better dine in but we have taken out too (gets too cold by the time we eat it) but the quality is always great. Kids love the margarita pizza and I often try the specials which are always great. Small space though so get there early to get a table.
What a great little spot in Little Italy. Three beers on tap, two local and one imported. I tried the Enzo and my wife had the special with rapini, pecorino and sausage with sauce added. They offer two styles of pizza one with sauce and the other a flatbread type without sauce. Toppings on my Enzo were plentiful and very tasty. My crust had the right amount of char yielding a crispy bottom that had a slightly bit of chew to it. Sauce was not overpowering and complimented the cheese very well. This is Italian wood fired pizza not Mid East style that is so common in Ottawa.
A great place to go for a casual environment and some pizza. We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed, but there conveniently was a table for two. We ordered the salumi plate and a pizza each, while salumi was perfectly fine, the pizza was outstanding! We had both some glasses of proseco and red wine, which came in water glasses, a little disappointing to us, but very casual European. They lost points for me on their lack of cocktails and drink selection, as well as desserts (although apparently the Nutella pizza is quite good, we had gelato). Service was great. Another positive was the amount of Italian people in the place, definitely authentic. My cousins husband who is Italian and a chef also have given it the seal of approval, so I was not surprised. I'll be back!
Favourite pizza place in Ottawa!! Try the Roberto or the Pirlo! This place is everything you need and want in a small pizzeria. Great pizza, beer and fantastic service!!
This our go-to pizza place in Ottawa. Smaller and casual restaurant with a large (10-15) pizza options that are perfectly made in their wood burning oven. Pizzas either have a white or tomato base and all are so simple but incredibly tasty. No wine or cocktail list (I believe they don't serve cocktails) and the wines are their selected house wines of 1 white or 1 red. Relaxed atmosphere, attentive service and good food = great spot for pizza :-)
Tried this for the first time and I can definitely say it won't be my last. It's a cozy spot in Little Italy, strategically located right next to a delicious gelato place for after... The margherita pizza was pretty good but needs more basil for that special kick of flavour. I tried the pepperoni and cheese thin crust and thought it was great. I think I'll have to try more of the vegetarian centric pizzas next time. Mark Warburton
This is a smaller, more casual, pizza-centric subset of a full Fratelli restaurant. The pizza menu seems identical to what you would find at Fratelli but with slightly lower prices in keeping with the more rustic ambience.
Did not disappoint :) We were very satisfied beyond our expectations. Also there was no bad after effect with digestion. It felt very clean in my tummy after with no indigestion. Highly recommend. They know what they are doing. #1. Strong flavour. Authentic. Good quality ingredients. 👍
Roberto Pizza is the best Pizza spot in Ottawa. Incredibly friendly service, a quaint dine in area, and a menu that speaks for itself. The Calabrese is to die for! I would recommend Roberto Pizza to any pizza lover. A great spot to impress friends from out of town.
Great pizza i love the menu very unique i could say but they also have the basics which makes it real better. Would love to back here again ohh mon le petit italia en Ottawa.
Great Pizza and Kitchessipi beer on tap. Expect to pay about $20 per pizza and $8.50 per beer. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was Because it took about 45 mins for the pizzas to arrive on the busy Friday night we were there. Pro tip is to go next door for gelato when finished
