My team at work had a celebration today at Biagio's, a group of more than 60 people. The staff were amazing! Friendly, fast, and courteous! The event manager worked with our boss to create a menu with five or six choices of entrées, providing great options for my coworkers - even allowing for dietary substitutions like a gluten-free pizza! The staff did a great job handling the large group, with food coming out on time and serving everyone at once (vs events we've had elsewhere in the past where some tables had finished eating well before another table had even been served!)
I think everybody was very happy with the event, and I'd like to give a big thanks to the entire staff at Biagio's! If you're looking for a place for your company party, you can't go wrong booking here!
We often eat at Biagio's restaurant because the food is fantastic and our kids always eat everything on their plates. So when we were planning our wedding recently we were excited to have Biagio's cater it. They did a fantastic job, everyone raved about the food. Definitely the best wedding food I have ever had!
Cannot express enough how amazing this restaurant is. They are so friendly and have such a cozy eating area. They make the best pasta I’ve ever had and it’s because they truly care about making a quality meal on every plate. We found out that they grow their own spices and veggies in house and it shows with how good their food is. What a great place to enjoy dinner at I highly recommend you try their lasagna. 10/10 and probably my favourite restaurant in Ottawa.
Good ambience. Good service. Good food. I would like to mention that the server gave us some bread while we were waiting for main and the bread was really nice. I liked the fact that even after closing time the sever asked us for dessert and did not rush us at all.
Excellent meal for the 3 of us recently. We are long-time customers of Biagio’s but so nice to be back.
We loved the food and the changes to the decor. The Mercato is a great addition. Special thanks to Sarah for help finding my scarf! Well done everyone.
The Easter Meal that we picked up and served at home was excellent in every way and the portions were very, very generous.
The salad with the 'Watermelon radish' garnish and the dressing were fresh and tasty and the selection of 5-6 vegetables was plentiful. The fingerling potatoes made a nice addition. The dressing for the ham was very tasty and the tiramisu light and fluffy. Well done--looking forward to you Mother's Day offering.
On Thursday we joined friends for Biagio's Garden Dinner on the patio. We enjoyed several courses of interesting, beautifully prepared and served dishes planned by chef Jess Hendren. Adding to the atmosphere were the plentiful gardens of green surrounding us. Even the weather cooperated to make the evening perfect. We highly recommend this new monthly feature by Michael Ziola and his friendly staff.
Nice space, great atmosphere, gluten free options! Food is good but a bit bland for my taste. If you don't like spicy you'll love it
Wasnt expecting much when we first arrived as its a small local resteraunt with a rustic feel but we were wrong defenitly wrong. This is hands down one of the best Italian places I have had the pleasure of dining at. Great service but also the menu was really well put together. The veal was delecious and felt gormet as well as the Tiger shrimp Linguini (The Biagios). Pricing wasnt bad, they offer bread while you wait for your food. The Bruschetta was also very good. Next time we go we really want to try the Alantic Salmon. I would 100% reccomend this place whether you sre going for food, drinks or on a date
