Amazingly fresh food and the greatest family running the place. I get take out here at leadt once a month.
Best fish and chip's in Oakville. Been going here since 1997, when I moved to Oakville, and Art's has always been consistently good. The owners and employees are friendly and personable, and the food is always good. This place has a lot of history, but it's a little bit "underground", as not many people seem to know it exists or just how good the food is. I very highly recommend Art's for both their sit-in service as well as their takeout.
The New Go-To Spot. My dad is an avid fish-n-chip eater. He rates each meal he eats and, though few have come close to a perfect 10/10, Art's is ranked the highest. He rarely returns to the same place twice, but I think Art's has become his new go-to spot as he's on visit #8 now which was unheard of before we discovered this gem of a place. The owners are also very nice and personable. There's no pretense about the place - you get what you go for and that's just the way we like it! Thanks also to the North Oakville Today newspaper for running the ad that introduced us to Art's. I don't know that we would have found it otherwise.
The best Fish & Chips in Oakville by far. Amazing owners but if you hope to order on a holiday be prepared to wait as its a common hotspot for locals.
