I enjoy the food at royal shawarma. My favorite dish is the rice with chicken with lots of garlic sauce, and the hot sauce is way to hot for me. LOL
Chicken and rice shawarma. This place usually pumps out the best chicken and rice shawarma ever, but on this particular occasion a couple of kids were working the kitchen and the food just wasn't nearly as bang on as it usually is.
Wow!!. This has gotten to be the best thing i have every eatin befor, i have tried mean shawarma but this OMG im soo speach less when i took that bit it was like soo much flavour that was bursting in my mouth. It has to be in my top 3 Favorited Restauran in oakville.
My god, I have been to many many Shawarma places but this is my favourite in between Toronto to Niagara.
First if all this place is a hole in the wall, appearance is crappy and the time for the food to be made takes a good 15 minutes for your dish. But who cares! The food here is amazing.
I have only done the chicken shawarma on a rice plate but I will never deviate. This isn't the normal shawarma where it is wrapped although you can order it. But I recommend the chicken shawarma plate!
Their garlic sauce is awsome, not overly garlicky but very good! They also use a hot sauce which in my opinion is not hot at all. This hot sauce has fantastic flavours! It is a bit spicy but with a sweet flavour almost like the Korean hot sauce for bibimbop.
If you have time and don't care about atmosphere this is an awsome place to go. Run by family and they have no plans on expanding in the near future! Support them!

The best rice ever!. I love Mediterranean food, and have tried many places. They have the best rice I've ever tried! (And I'm chinese so have had a lot of rice!!!) Very friendly service, and very good Hummus, and Babaganoush.
Warning though: if you have meetings later in the day... don't have their Garlic Sauce. Very strong taste, but very good too!
Now to the content of the plate! The chicken is cooked very well, still juicy, but very crispy! Great seasoning too. The rice is quite standard and isn't bad but man the garlic and hot sauce... man...
These two sauces combined offer the best flavour I have tried for shawarma!!
The hot sauce is not hot, more so flavour, almost like a sweet hot sauce this is a must!! Without both there is no reason to get the plate. Even Tatiana who can't eat anything remotely spicey can eat this! Its not hot sauce, they should rename it to god sauce or something. The garlic sauce is powerful and creamy but once you mix them all together the rice spreads the sauce around and makes it the perfect dish.
This is a pretty low-key shawarma spot, but it's a lot better than you'd think from driving past it. It's simple toppings, no more than a few choices, but you really don't need more. What they offer is a straight forward and delicious shawarma, and their garlic sauce is great too. If you're in the area or need a quick bite before hopping on the 403, this is a nice alternative to the Wendy's and Timmy's that are next door.
