First and foremost, this Hero location (Maple Grove in SE Oakville) provides excellent food, service, and atmosphere. The food is always done just how you want it, everyone is very friendly and welcoming, and I've never seen a cleaner restaurant - it is spotless!
For me, as a Celiac, I also find it the safest place to eat in the area. They have gluten-free buns, a gluten-free menu (online or in store) showing gluten free options, and most importantly, they understand cross-contamination. From storage to cooking surfaces to preparation surfaces, gluten free orders are kept separate from non-GF orders. I have eaten here several times a week for months and have never been glutened - and that's huge for Celiacs and anyone who has gluten intolerance!
The burgers are traceable, they are raised without antibiotics or hormones. Since being diagnosed with Celiac, I've become aware of how significant that is in affecting health in modern society. Eating here definitely seems safer than so many other places.
And on a fun note, they have the new Coke Freestyle machine with over 100 flavours - the food is that much better with a Fanta Zero fruit punch, a diet caffeine free cherry vanilla Coke, or a Strawberry Sprite!
