rabba fine foods-oakville (RFFO) is located in a plaza, across from the sheridan college trafalgar campus. its biggest asset is providing a grocery style shopping service within a convenience store environment, 24/7.
RFFO also features a tim hortons, fresh produce, a sushi corner bar, in addition to salads, take out foods, and some hot foods. there is also a decent selection of grocery and household items.
i was coming off afternoon shift and got approved for a morning shift the next day, so i was in a pinch to get specific grocery items. RFFO was recommended to me by a co-worker, and thankfully i was able to get what i needed.
big shout-out to staff workers haleem and his co-worker on the night shift after 1130pm. both persons were warm and welcoming during my visit. đź’™
haleem did an excellent job keeping the line moving, when it got busy with an influx of students. i like that the store has at least 2 workers on the night shift, not just because it's busy, but also for the sake of safety.
one star gets knocked off for the high prices. that said, you are paying for the 24/7 convenience given there's no grocery store nearby.
bottom line: i would recommend to others, and would use rabba fine foods-oakville again if i was in a jam for grocery food items or a take-out meal.đź‘Ť
This store is a lifesaver when you need an item at odd hours. The pre made meals are great and super convenient. Best beef sausage rolls and chicken salad.
They’re 24/7 always even when there isn’t power. They have a good junk food selection. A little to pricey for items targeted towards lazy students, but really they’re supposed to know better. Not the greatest when it comes to fresh- always inspect deli salads, cold cuts are fine. Indoor Tim Hortons and Sushi stand.
Beautiful interior and great food. Not enough staff bc we did not have cutlery, missing plates, and water refills. That's probably due to the staff shortage everywhere.
This is the only grocery store within walking distance of my apartment. The product quality is fine - fruits and vegetables are fresher than I'd expect from a 24/7 store. However prices are high so I don't really shop here for anything but essentials (milk, eggs, bread, etc.)
Staff are usually pretty friendly!
Service was good. In and out quick. Shelves appeared reasonably stocked. Pricing on the items we grabbed seemed fair.
If everything's closed Rabba is always open. The inhouse Tim's helps.
Its like a 24 hr quick grocery store with prices a bit higher than standard . Its small and compact and does not offer everything like a Walmart . Ut has a sushi parlor and a Tim Hortons inside.
Went there at 7am and the music playing was very up beat and cool the Clerc was super friendly, there's also a Tim Hortons inside the store..
Always super clean with polite staff.
