My friend and I went here for dinner. Everything was really delicious. We ordered the steak bites, crab cakes and the Daily Soup which was prime rib with mushroom. It was amazing. The service was impeccable. Lots of attention to detail, and our server, Gillian, was fabulous and we will definitely be back A perfect meal and excellent service
My colleague and I were staying at the attached hotel on a weekend trip for business and decided to check out the attached restaurant - Chop. We were beyond satisfied with everything from atmosphere and service to the food. We ended up eating here every evening after 12 hour workdays and experienced the same level of friendly service and delicious meals each visit. Hoping the Chop brand soon migrates to the capital city of Ottawa so we can go more often!
I recently took my boyfriend to Chop at the Oakville location to celebrate his 33rd birthday and I must say the service was beyond exceptional. Brittany our server did an amazing job by providing excellent customer service from the moment we were seated by our lovely hostess. Additionally, Brittany and the staff gave my boyfriend a birthday card signed by Chop staff which is really appreciated and unexpected by myself and boyfriend. I commend the staff at the Burloak location for their wonderful service and they should continue the good work. Once again, thank you to Brittany and her team.

My husband's dinner at Chop Steakhouse. My husband Dave celebrated his birthday last night with our daughter and I at Chop Steakhouse in Oakville. We are from Ancaster, but visited family in Oakville before going for dinner. We decided to try Chop Steakhouse on a suggestion from my sister who has been there before. It was our first time dining there and we were very impressed with everything. We walked in to the lobby where the host was smiling and seated us right away in a comfortable booth. I looked around and saw that most of the seating there were booths, and I believe most people would appreciate that.
Our server ( I believe his name was Steve ) was very friendly and helpful with the menu. Dave usually takes forever to make up his mind on his dinner, and went with some great suggestions. We all enjoyed our meals and Dave said it was one of the best steaks he has ever had! We even got a free birthday dessert with a sparkler in it, which was a nice touch. Staff were smiling even when we said good bye at the door.
It was a great night out and we plan on returning again soon!
Chop . . . welcome to Oakville / Burlington !!! We're so glad you're here.. Great alternative to The Keg (you know...the place that you wait for a table forever and they can't wait to serve you and push you out the door so that they can replace your table with another party -- the place where the food is mediocre at best !). . . . Chop beats them hands down. Atmosphere, servers, decor, food. All several levels above. The bar is cool, separated from the dining room. We've been there 3 times now - consistent service, great food, terrific value for the money.
Great restaurant!. Probably the best filet I've ever had. Great seafood options as well! An Oakville/Burlington must try!
