This is as true a neighbourhood pub as you're gonna get.
I've been going there for over a decade now. It's reliable and consistent.
Excellent core of staff. Decent to excellent pub food. Well worn-in. And exactly the kind of wacko regulars at the wood as you'd expect, but enough room to avoid them.
This place has it dialled in.

Good food, neighbourhood pub-style service (which means that they're watching the game as much as you are, and they have a qualified opinion on what's going on).
There's lots of activities, colourful and sometimes obnoxious regulates - just like any neighbourhood pub, and the place is suitably well-worn.
And yeah, decent pub grub. All you really need.
Great Neighborhood Pub / Restaurant. The "Pemby" has it all.
Friendly staff, good food, excellent specials, and they can always get your game on.
I recommend it for a drink, lunch or dinner, or to watch your favourite sporting event.
