We had just finished a wonderful Christmas experience at Capilano Suspension Bridge and needed a good feed! Luckily we found this place 😀
Price point was on the higher side, $20 a plate of pasta but, the portion sizes were huge so not to bad really. I ordered the expo 86 weird name for a pasta but was delicious! It was shrimp and crab with a rich red sauce. My friends ordered veal meat balls with spaghetti , cabonara, veal stuffed tortellini with cream sauce and we shared a fresh tasting cesar salad.
I tried all the dishes my friends ordered and there wasn't one I didnt like. Had a decent selection of wine! I went with a classic malbec. I was way to full to try dessert but hope to get some next time!!
I will for sure be back to sample some more of the menu.
Things to note: We arrived early (6pm) so had no trouble getting a table but with 40 minutes the place was packed so maybe make a reservation!!
My husband and I came here and would absolutely go again. The service was wonderful and the food was incredible! If you're in North Van this place is a must!!!
A gem on the NorthShore. This place has tons of class. My favorite place to dine on the NorthShore. Great food and great staff!
Love Bravo Cucina! One of my favourite restaurants, by far. The food and service are always fantastic! The mussels are always really good, and the Bravo Spaghetti is great. I've dined there many times, and my only complaint would be that I found their alfredo sauce to be a little bland. But, other than that, I've never been disappointed.
Never disappoints. This is a family favourite and it never disappoints us. Reasonable wine prices for a wonderful list.
Fabulous specials - mussels in a spicy broth last Saturday.
The Expo 86 pasta or salmon is in a word: delicious!
Waste your money elsewhere. Spend your money here. No relatives or friends of mine. They deserve it. Business lunch or special dinner. I hate to be disappointed and I love this place.
Enjoy. We've eaten here a few times and have always enjoyed the food and the service.
Very good food. Had the fresh halibut and it was so fresh it tasted so good. Excellent service and very nice ambiance! Highly recommended!
One of my favorite restaurants. The service is alright, nothing to complain about and nothing to praise. The real reason why I go is for the amazing food, I've been severall times and each time had something different on the menu. Particularly I found their sauces to be incredibly flavourful and well worth the money. I would recommend this place to anyone that likes quality Italian food.
Great Italian Food. I wouldn't think North Vancouver would have a great Italian Restaurant, but they sure do. Great menu, good service and nice wine. All what you from a restaurant.
worth to try out
Bravissimo. A really nice Italian room on the North Shore. Great ambiance, wonderful staff, good wine selection and the food is good Italian fare. This restaurant puts to shame the more pretentious Italian offerings on this shore.
Bravo to Bravo. North Van isn't a place I'd usually think of as a fine dining mecca but this place offers blow-you-away food and simply superb service (eat your heart out Yaletownies and Downtowners). Delicious and idiomatic Italian fare, not trendy for sure, but alta cucina of its kind. A sure fire win on all counts and worth crossing the bridge for even.
The Great Neighbourhood Restaurant. Excellent food, exceptional service. Thumbs up!
Bravo!. I give them a standing O for Food as well as Service. I would highly recommend this place to friends or family. Its a perfect spot for a romantic dinner for two on a dreary wet North Shore night. Portion sizes were perfect and the entrees came with an array of seasonal vegetables. The Prawn & Scallop dish with the Citrus Chardonnay sauce was outstanding. We can't wait to go again.
Incredible Italian food that I’ve even brought Italians to who gave it the full stamp of approval. I’ve been here a few times and always loved it. The server was extremely friendly and even accommodated our small puppy on the patio. Their carbonara is my go-to
I grabbed the spaghetti Carbonara, it was nice. I have yet to experience Dining @ Bravo Cucina. But the staff seemed really nice, overly friendly exceptionally helpful. My baby Goose loved licking the pasta container after I’d finished so that’s a really good Sign.
We both had the chef specials: The chicken parmigiana my husband said was A-amazing and I'm still raving about the Halibut, quinoa and that chutney and the delicate veloute. Just a perfect end to the week or the start of April Thank you, Trevor, Walter and of course Weyland for making our evening Oh so amazing.
Amazing food, Excellent service, and very professional servers. Can't go wrong with any occasion and one of the best services you will ever get in town! Great job everyone.
Place was busy! Food was impeccable. Couldnt finish, had to take leftovers home! Served by Trevor, super friendly fellow. Be sure to have your BC vaccine scan handy!
This restaurant is a hidden gem! It's a small little place with amazing food and great staff! Everyone that works there has only one thing in mind: to give you the best possible experience! And they succeed every time. I love this place and I recommend to anyone who loves Italian food!
We have been going to Bravo Cucina for 25 years for all of our special occasions. We have invariably enjoyed a consistent high quality of well-presented food and service. If you eat a full course meal, the servings are adequate, but If you are looking for piles of food at a cheap price, this is not for you.
Bravo is my and my family’s favourite restaurant of all time. Authentic Italian food at its best. Amazing varied menu, fresh ingredients, great wine selection, cozy and warm atmosphere. We love Bravo!!
