The food was great!
The chicken pie was delicious but has a rosemary that I don't like. If you are sensitive about taste and spices, ask them for ingredients.

They have the best crab bisque that I can’t help but keep ordering the same thing over and over. The combo has good value that you can get soup and sandwiches. Their sandwiches were just okay, not so impressive. Maybe I should try different things on the menu next time. All the foods here looked pretty good.
Special thanks to our server ‘Sky’ for her awesome service, kindness and care. Sky checked in on us regularly, made some excellent food recommendations - we loved the experience! Ordered grilled cheese, tomato soup with caesar salad and spicy oven baked Harissa wings - all items were outstanding!! Highly recommend this place!
Stopped here for dinner recently on a Tuesday. Despite the day of the week, the restaurant was fairly busy, and I did have to wait 15 minutes for a table for two.
Once seated, a server greeted my table promptly and took our order, at which point our food was up in about 15 minutes, so great speed of service. Our waitress was friendly, as well.
I opted for their soup and sandwich combo, getting their crab bisque and Dos Diablos sandwich, whereas my fiance got their Tasty Chicken Sandwich and mushroom soup. My bisque soup was very tasty, although I would have preferred it a bit creamier tasting and less tomato-y, but that's a minor nitpick. My sandwich was also plenty good, although I was left feeling that the sandwich could have had a bit more substance, namely more chorizo.
Overall, a really positive experience, and I would gladly recommend this place to others. Do note that there are some parking lots nearby you'll want to aim for, as there isn't much in the way of street parking.
This place is very homey and comfortable. This family friendly restaurant has a hearty menue with great soup and sandwiches. Really enjoyed their perogies and french onion soup.
It’s easy to see why Burgoo is such a Vancouver staple. Their food is always unreal. Most recently I got the Mushroom Medley soup with the Bistro salad and it was the perfect Sunday lunch. In the past I’ve also had the Chicken Pot Pie and Beef Bourguignon and they are both incredible. Highly recommend both. This Burgoo establishment also had really friendly staff.

Finally had a chance to try this comfort food place. The interior is very cozy. Got the grilled cheese with a side of mashed potatoes, Shrimp appetizer and Brie Fondue.
Loved the apples and grapes with the fondue. Server seemed tired and a bit confused but overall good service. Can get a bit too loud inside the restaurant.
Grilled cheese sandwich dipped in Fondue cheese was not bad at all.
Definition of comfort food and definitely will hit the spot! Had wings for appy which were eaten too quickly! We also had the El Camino - a pulled pork sandwich served with potato chips on the side; as well as the infamous Mac n Cheese - get it with carnitas for an extra $3 but totally worth it! 100% would recommend!
