Been there twice now. A nice, relaxed unrushed atmosphere. The grilled cheese with tomato & bacon is quite tasty. Soups are home made and hearty and great tasting.
Check this place on line and had pretty good review so checked it out.
My friend and I both had a sandwich. It took a bit to get but it was so worth the wait.

Soothing atmosphere, fresh ingredients in their Mango Shrimp Salad. If you are looking for a place to have a relaxing brunch, cafe Hesed is a perfect choice.

Yummy Bulgogi Burger. I've just been to Cafe Hesed across the street from my place.
The service was great, the lady who started this cosy restaurant
was super nice and genuinely care what I think of their food.
I enjoyed their Bulgogi Burger, then I fell in love with it.
This super-yummy burger is topped w/ Onions, Avocado, Lettuce,
and their secret sauce. For I like Bulgogi a lot, this burger
was AMAZING to me! This may be the only place that serves Korean
style burgers in newmarket. I will definitely come here again soon.
First time very good experience. Had the egg casserole very good. Planning on going back next time we are in New Market.
Absolutely love this little Cafe on Main St. The sweetest couple have run the place with love and kindness for years. Their food is always exceptional, and their coffee and specialty drinks keep us coming back weekly, after the Farmer's Market. Highly recommend, especially throughout these tough times for small, local businesses.

Nice little cafe on Main St. I've been here a few times and their sandwiches are always tasty! Stopped by recently (during Covid) and the sandwiches are quite smaller than they used to be. I totally understand having to make cuts with the current economic situation, but the size ends up being too small for the price in my opinion. I'll be back because they're very nice people, serve good quality food, and it's important to support local businesses during this challenging time.
Ordered through skip the dishes. Got beef Bulgogi with rice which was delicious. It also came with a side of miso soup. The food was flavorful and fresh. Everything was still hot when I received it. I would definitely order again to try something else off their menu.
I love this place! The food and coffee/tea is fresh and tasty. They have a varied collection of teas. It is always clean. The decor is homey but chic. I like their choice music (usually classical or movie soundtracks) in mornings. The owners are hardworking and kind.
My favourite on Main St. The best sandwiches, the best soups, the best lattes and the owners are the nicest people. I love going here and so does my daughter. Vicki and Joseph are wonderful people
