Lovely little spot. Has a nice patio area which was dog friendly. I got a couple of tacos and jalapeno poppers. All were fresh and delicious! Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Great place for some good Mexican food in Nanaimo!
This was my go to place when I was a student at VIU. The staff and the mexican chef are very polite. They have a wide array of Authentic Mexican food. The prawns tacos and the nachos platter with chorizo has levels to it.
The food is nice, the drinks are great, the patio is chill; buuuut, the service isn’t very friendly, and the food is slow. Some items on the menu might be authentic Mexican. Must be a popular place for take out due to the endless stream of drivers picking up orders.
Love the food there! Got free chips and salsa as a starter, tacos are gluten-free and you can get a side of rice & beans (it's a lot). They also have a few vegetarian and vegan options. Margaritas are tasty too and the horchata is devine! Would go back there in a heartbeat!! ☀️
Omar (hopefully spelled that correctly) is such a friendly waiter who was definitely a reason for us to come back to this place rather than trying a different restaurant on our trip😊
The food here is amazing! Our family absolutely loved the street tacos and other dishes here. By far, the best mexican dishes we've had. Priced reasonably, all the dishes were well spiced and rich in flavor and freshness. The service is friendly and helpful. I only wish they had more locations!
We ordered lunch for our biweekly staff lunch - food for 15 people. Everything was absolutely perfect. We had the food delivered and everything arrived hot and labelled as requested, no issues at all. My entire team raved all afternoon how absolutely delicious the food was. The food from Baby Salsa transported me back to Mexico! The chips and salsa were divine. The pork quesadilla was delicious and the fish tacos were incredible! The food definitely hit the spot! The servers are all very friendly.
