Really liked the food. The outdoor area looks great, and is quiet being outside.
Great menu selection, and not too expensive really.
Our server forgot a spoon with the meal. And decided to shout a dessert to apologise. A great gesture something we didn't really mind.
The cinnamon bun cheesecake was delicious by the way...
In a similar vein to Cactus and Browns I'd say.

I've been coming to Original Joe's Nanaimo location for years now. This restaurant has never let me down, it's always been a pleasure to come here.
Whether you have a group, or by yourself at the bar, there's always something going on or somebody to talk to. Good variety of drinks, and the food is out of this world.
So far after coming in, I've tried almost everything on the menu now, and I have never been let down. The portions are great, the mashed potatoes are TOO DIE FOR! I've never been a huge fan of them, generally, but this place really puts heart into their food, as one does with art.
To pick a favourite, I love the Haddock Stack. I've always preferred seafood generally, but that Stack is really good! I don't like to order the same thing twice generally, but it has me coming back for more.
Of course the menu is full of great things and never lacklustre. I'd say to please check it out, pull up and get an appetizer of the truffle parmesan Crips!
If you're picky, even on a bad day the fries that they serve are the bomb! I've never had tastier, crispier fries. Somehow, they always manage to make them perfect, every single time.
Before I sound like a broken-record, do yourself the favour and check the place out. Everybody works hard for your satisfaction, and you won't regret it.
Patio service lovely and spacious with heaters. Great food. Dynamite Tempura Shrimp and West Coast Chop Salad so good!
