Love love love this restaurant! Never been disappointed!! So worth trying it out of you haven't already!!! My favorite is either the burger special or the crispy cod burger!!
I ordered a gluten free Mozza mushroom chicken burger. It was hands down the best I have ever eaten! WOW It was delivered within a half hour. Everybody else stated the food was great too.
Just finished the Veal Cutlets...they were awesome. The gravy was delicious and the veggies were cooked perfectly. The wine was a generous portion and the service was great. I'll definitely be back and will recommend this restaurant to friends.
Try the pasta dishes!!. Absolutely the best chicken fettucini and lasagna we have ever ordered from a pizza place! The lasagna was actually layered with noodles, meat sauce, and ricotta and other cheeses! You also get thick garlic CHEESE toast with each pasta order. The fettucini sauce is thick and creamy and is loaded with flavour and the chicken breast is tender and juicy. We can't wait until the new SLICE RESTO is open for business. I can only imagine that what ever they have on their new menu will be delicious. It will be nice to be able to enjoy some good food at a sit down restaurant.....NEVER CHANGE YOUR RECIPE TREVOR!

On a referral from family we tried their pizza 3 nights ago & it was fantastic! We had the Godfather & the OMG & both were very tasty, crust was delicious. I couldn't believe how heavy the pizzas were & loaded with toppings. We will definitely order from here again & again!
Most amazing pizza around!. Crust made several times daily is to die for! Yummy and amazing. Generous toppings and friendliest service you can hope for. I've driven 10kms to get this pizza! Well worth it!

Out of this world!. By far the best pizza we have ever ordered! We tried the Kona, and the Pulled pork pizza (not one we would normally choose) and it is seriously the best pizza I have ever had. Friendly service too! We'll be ordering there from now on!
Great food, went there on a Sunday. They close by 8. The server was very patient and helpful. Nice place to have a beer with some pizzas. The wings and the pizza was good. Tried the big bacon burger.

Slice Resto is another lovely restaurant in the tranquil suburb of Cedar, just south of Nanaimo, BC. It is situated between the 49th Parallel Grocery and Coco Cafe. Parking is limited at the entrance, but there is plenty more in back. The restaurant is large and cozy, with tables and booths. The menu has a good assortment of choices including fresh homemade soups, salads, appetizers, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, as well as full entrees. It is a very ambitious menu, and yet they seem to pull it all together really well. I started with a fresh spinach salad, followed by a burger with fries. My son had their Resto Mac and Cheese paired with the salad special of the day. Dessert is not shown on their website, which is a real shame, as they make some of the most mouth watering cheesecakes in the Nanaimo region. I've included some images to whet your appetite. They also have large brownies. Their signature cheesecake is Oreo with a light fluffy cheesecake on a chocolate cookie shell. The other regular cheesecake is Peanut Butter. They also had two seasonal cheesecakes, lemon and lime, which we tried. Everything was nicely plated and everything tasted great. The service was warm and friendly. I am looking forward to trying the Oreo cheesecake next visit.
Their crispy chicken sandwich is even better than their impressive burgers. I tried their mixed greens with blue cheese dressing and found it to be a well above average garden salad which I have ordered again. Their signature Oreo cheesecake is rich, fluffy and delicious and well worth ordering and taking some extra slices home. Truly impressive.
The service was fantastic from start to finish. Mj was so hospitable. The food was reasonably priced and so were the drinks! We had wings and calamari! Definitely we will be back and also when I need a quick snack I will be stopping by for a slice to go between 12-4.
Everything I've eaten at this restaurant has been delicious. I used to buy your pizza when you had a little takeout on the side of the gas station. Best. Pizza. Ever. Please, please reopen.
Love this place! When I found out it was closing, I called my parents who live out there to pick me up a peanut butter cheesecake slice for when I come back to Nanaimo. Hopefully it lasts in the freezer and no one else takes it. Seriously the best! Also, great pizza, but cheesecake is to die for.

A wonderful family restaurant. Good food, good service, coloring for kids, and they used a coffee cup as a sippy for my 2.5 year olds orange juice. $10 kids menu, change table in the washroom.
Friendly, clean and fantastic food! We just by chance saw this place and decided to give it a try! I think one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Great fries and gravy! Best place on the Island! Highly recommend it! They welcome Children and have a great kids menu! Thank you! We’ll be back! Loved the signs all over the place too!😂 happy vibes is a happy time!
