Always an experience grabbing a bite at Jaipur! It’s a BYOB Indian palace. The service first of all is excellent, the owner is always present with a big smile. The food is scrumptious, served hot spicy and generous portions. Their papadoms and garlic naan bread is so tasty and good, butter chicken is perfect, so is their lamb tika masala. Really really recommend, especially if you are looking for a nice romantic spot!
Take Out and Eat In. Pretty good food and great delivery service (got here quickly at prime time during the week). We ordered in once and ate at the restaurant once. Admittedly, it's not the best Indian food we've had, but coming from the greater Toronto area, were there is a huge Indian population and a tonne of family run restaurants, we've been spoiled. It could have a little more "kick" but we were happy with the food both times we've eaten it. The meal combos for two offer a good selection and amount of food for the price. We had two meals for two people out of the AA Combo when we ordered take out.
You won't regret it!. I have never eaten there, but had the menu DD (vegetarian for two) delivered several times and I don't get tired of it.
The vegetarian samosa is ordinary but the rest of the menu is really good. I have been to fancy expensive indian restaurants with surprisingly good reviews that where not half as good as the food from Jaipur Tandoori!
Very very good, real indian tastes. Probably the best indian restaurant i have ever been, dishes are really tasty and the chicken vindaloo was so delicious and extremely hot (they warned me before though) . even dhal soup(with coriander) was really original & tasty and garlic naan bread was perfect to say the least. dessert was complimentary. wine was not expensive at all(compared to other restaurants in canada). restaurant is small that adds to atmosphere and dishes were pretty cheap and quality was outstanding.Staff was really nice. vote: 10 out of ten
Full tummy = satisfied customer. After an intense working weekend, I didn't feel like cooking.
We wanted Thai, but our favourite restaurant was closed, and our second choice in the neighbourhood had run out of tofu ;-( so we opted for the closest Indian place around -- Jaipur Tandoori.
This was not the best Indian food I've ever had, but it definitely was not the worst. The chana masala was excellent. Saag paneer was not what I was expecting -- the sauce was thin and the paneer was crumbly -- but what it lacked in texture it made up for in flavour, because the spice blend was very good. Cucumber raita was thicker than usual, with strips of cucumber on top. Samosas were ok, but the sauce was a bit too sweet. Naan bread was fresh and warm, but a bit dry. The service was very friendly, from the person who took my order to the delivery driver. The order arrived very quickly.
Compared to some other Indian places (excepting the very good deals in Parc Ex) Jaipur offers excellent value for the price: two of us ate until we could eat no more, and there are plenty of leftovers for tomorrow's lunch, tax and tip included, for $16 each.
Verdict: we were very hungry and this hit the spot. A full tummy = a satisfied customer.
