Spot of sushi. Looking for a quiet place to satisfy a sushi craving? Classical music to listen to while you chow down on your favourites. Cosy, clean and pleasant service. Tried the grilled eel, scallop and salmon/tuna - all very enjoyable! Fresh, tasty and appealing to the eye as well! Must go back and try all the other offerings. We left stuffed and happy. A big plus was to have great food without having to go downtown and bother with finding a parking spot.

This little mom and pop sushi restaurant gets my five star rating. The fish is always fresh and they are super nice. Having lived in Japan, I can say with some authority that Hoshimi delivers a familiar home style Japanese ambiance. They are on my list of top three Japanese restaurants in Montreal, beside Kazu, and Juni. Homshimi is our go to place for takeout sushi. And the prices are reasonable. Hope you try it and enjoy as much as I have. I recommend it to all my friends in NDG.

Amazing. It's a run of the mill run down little place that makes the best sushi i have ever had anywhere. They were very nice, quick and very well priced. The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious

My new favourite sushi. So far the best sushi place I have ever been to. My dad's office is right upstairs so it's a great place to go for lunch when I'm around.

You can just taste how insanely fresh all the food is and it's all made to order on the spot. None of those pre-made sushi containers. The dining room is pretty small but it is great for pickup and delivery!
They'll bring you nonstop delicious tea and every meal comes with edamame and salad.

The prices are extremely reasonable for the amazing quality of the food. I usually go with a friend and the two of us can eat for under $22 together! The staff is extremely friendly and it's a nice family-run restaurant.

I highly recommend trying out Sushi Hoshimi!

Really yummy! Good basic sushi! Good spicy sauce! Fresh! Very small resto, great for pick up and delivery. Staff are super friendly
