I've been there quite a few times now, but I just realized I never wrote a review. Here it is!
The place used to be tiny when it opened and there was a lineup but since they renovated and rented the adjacent space, the lineups disappeared.
Essentially it's a japanese brasserie with simple decor, straightforward service. Delicious food. Savory ramen. Still busy and noisy.
Fave spot to grab Ramen in the Mile End/ Plateau. Hands down top 3 in city.

Ramen is delicious, but the sushi's nothing special. This place serves both ramen and sushi. The ramen is delicious, but the sushi's not all that special or exciting. If you're looking for good ramen this is the place to go! But if you're in the mood for sushi, perhaps you should go elsewhere. Definitely worth the visit for the ramen.
Good value, no frills.. I had the chashu ramen with shoyu broth. The chashu was flavorful and tender, and there was plenty of it to boot, but the noodles felt a bit flat in both flavor and texture. The other toppings were nicely balanced and fresh, and the broth was increasingly robust as they all mingled together. Overall the dish was nicely portioned for $10--I wasn't uncomfortably stuffed, and felt perfectly satisfied. Service was sufficient even though we went at that awkward time between lunch and dinner service. Sushi, for whatever reason, wasn't available. I wasn't wowed, but this was a perfectly adequate, satisfying lunch, and I can imagine it being even better when cold weather sets in. I may go back to see if their okonomiyaki is any good.
Good soup. The udon soup here is very warm and delicious, full of fresh vegetables and the restaurant provides a variety of toppings, such as dried onions you can add on top. Abit pricey but best ramen in the city i've found so far.
Best Ramen in Montreal. Want to keep this restaurant a little secret but the ramen is so good that it deserves to be commended.
The ramen broth is light and tasty. The noodle is lightly al dente and the vegetables varied and inviting.
Service is always friendly and consistent.

Very good ramen. Have been looking for a good a good ramen place and this one did not disappoint. All the appetizers we tried we like.
I asked the chef for his recommendations and got the Chashu ramen bowl which includes pork roast and spicy miso soup along with house made ramen noodles and the usual ramen amenities. The bowl was served with some optional dried garlic seasoning and shichimi tougarashi (excellent Japanese spices).
