Typical Thai place, really good, I'll be going back for sure! You don't go for the looks, but the food is great, so as the service, so kind.
An amazing experience!!!. Loved the restaurant design, food was deelliiciioouuss. I had the red curry shrimp which was the best curry dish I had in my life! the service is awesome, our waitress was super sweet and nice. will definitely go there again! Thank you for an amazing experience!
Best pad-thai!!. We visited Montreal this week and ended our trip with a nice dinner at Phayathai. We arrived at the restaurant at about 9:45 on Sunday night, and despite the fact that the place was empty and closing time was in 15 minutes, they graciously seated us. We had shrimp rolls as an appetizer, I had the Pad Thai, and my husband ordered a chicken dish. It was the best pad Thai I've ever tasted and my husband's dish was super spicy, as he likes it. Delicious meal and great service!
Basic bottom line? Phayathai is a pretty Thai restaurant with very, very delectable food. I will most definitely be coming back!
Good ambiance, great and fast service. Food is tasty, but it was not 5 stars for me because it was a bit greasy. However, I feel like coming back here and trying their soups, which look very good.
We just love it! Pad Thai is pretty good (try the vegetable, it's fresh and full of flavour) and we are obsessed with the paneang curry tofu (with sticky rice!): the tofu is lightly fried, the sauce is thick and tastes like peanut, coconut and lemongrass. Amazing. Have been eating it for over 3 years... And are not even vegetarians!
Amazing soup and easily the best Pad Thai I've had in years. Would definitely eat here again. Perfectly cooked shrimp too!
My wife and I ate at most Thai restaurants in Montreal and Phayathai Laurier is by far our favorite one. We've been going there about twice a month for the last year and have never been disappointed. Everything is so delicious from the degustation plate (appetizers) to the Thai garlic shrimps, red curry chicken and pad thais.
The service is very friendly and the chefs are all Thai. It's an absolutely wonderful restaurant!
Pad Thai and the soup were really yummy! Prices (for lunch) were really cheap but not lot of ambiance as the place was empty.
