Not a bad cocktail bar. The drinks are reasonably good, the bartender are nice. Do not go on Friday or Saturday night as this bar becomes a club.
Check out these stunning vintage cocktails from the new menu at @mayfaircocktailbar. Although the service could use some work (it took us almost an hour of waiting before we managed to successfully flag down a member of the staff), a kind cocktail curator eventually swooped in & saved our evening – Thank you for your help & the tasty oysters!
Great spot for a different 5 a 7. The unique, English-inspired concept suggests tea-centric cocktails and British-style snacks. There is nothing like this in town.
An event celebrating the launch of Mayfair's spring cocktail menu gave us a glimpse into a typical and quite posh 5 à 7 at the tea room-inspired bar. Everything about the space speaks to the British theme from the detailed floors and mouldings, to the teapots and tea cups used to serve cocktails!. All of the cocktails on the menu incorporate Kusmi tea, and small bites arrive on a three-tiered high-tea-style platter- once again lending to the tearoom feel. We ordered the salmon tartare, naan bread with tikka masala, crostini with truffle and mushrooms, and sliders along with a few of their spring cocktails. My favourite was the Green Velvet, which was light, refreshing, and not too sweet.
Mayfair Cocktail bar evokes the romanticism and British elegance of the Victorian era. It is unlike other bars in Montreal because its décor is modelled after a 19th century English tea room and their menu also has a British influence. Many of their signature cocktails are even infused with teas! We first went to Mayfair Cocktail Bar past the witching hour when it becomes more club-like, it was as expected, but we were curious to see how it fared for a 5 à 7.
A little bit of everything and a whole lot of fun. Signature tea cocktails were great and the food service is wonderfully British and elegant. This Montreal hotspot is great for an early evening date or for a comfortable night of partying Thursday-Saturday. Been going also for the Tuesday Live Jazz nights, which are refreshing and cozy.
You wouldn't expect to find such a distinct bar in the heart of the Plateau. A bar that is a paradox in itself - it is classy and casual, loud and intimate, with a combination of Anglo-Saxon and Arabesque ambiance. This amalgamation of features is complimented by a select list of original cocktails. The service was great, the staff extremely friendly, and although I personally didn't savour any of the food, the smell was enough to mesmerize my senses. Mayfair is a definite must-try
Great place, great drinks!
Great place to go and grab drink during the day, even better in the evening! Amazing and friendly staff, wonderful decor, and the music is top notch. I would recommend this cocktail bar to all my friends.
Chill vibes, Top quality service, Creative drink selection & most of all good people.
