Excellent home-made mexican food. Typical colorful decor. Friendly service that makes you feel at ease. Neat little summer terrasse with straw parasols. Spicy comfort food.
This place is real authentic Mexican food. It reminds me a lot of my trip in South America. I have been there for breakfast, lunch, and dîner and they never disappointed me nor my gf. The service is rapid even with when it is full. I highly recommend any dishes with black bean sauce. The bill for 2 people is around 30-40 max which is decent.
I haven't been to many mexican restaurants in Montreal, about 3-4 and 2 of them were chain restaurants but I must say this one was the most authentic of all. Its so fresh! I love the guacamole and nachos entree. The guacamole is very very fresh. Its my go to place for Mexican food, and I recoomend it to everyone.
I go there every now and then. I tried several items on the menu, but my favorite is the taco al pastor, hands down. Be sure to try the tamarind juice or the horchata! :)
This ain't 3 amigos. Montreal doesn't exactly have an abundance of authentic mexican restaurants. Most of them are tex-mex garbage that couldn't serve a proper taco if their lives depended on it. That being said, the city needs more restos like Le Petit Coin Du Mexique. They dish out excellent authentic mexican food that keeps you coming back for more. Great tacos and enchiladas. The toritilla soup is nothing to write home about but hey, nobody's perfect. Despite what other reviews suggest, I found the portions to be fine. As per the price, it definitely isn't cheap but you get what you pay for. If you'd rather pay less, there's always taco bell.
High quality, low portions. The food is really good, way better than 3 Amigos just as a base reference. However, the portion are small, and the price is not proportional to the portion. The 'Table d'hôte' did not fill me at all. However, for the taste, it is worth it to make a tour. If they adjust the portions, they can make gold.
Super bon, et prix résonable. Menu pas compliquer à comprendre.
Amazing Comida, but the service .... Le Petit Coin Du Mexique serves delicious authentic Mexican dishes. The Mole is a favourite of ours. We've enjoyed many appetizers and main dishes there, all of which have been wonderful. The only problem is the service. The staff is not well trained, often returning from the dining area to the kitchen empty handed - extremely inefficient. To pay you have to line up at the cash which is at the back of the restaurant. I would suggest the management consider a more personal payment system, at our table for instance, or set up the cash near the entrance. And please train the waitstaff not to return to the kitchen area empty handed.
Another little comment is that in Québec, 'le petit coin' means the bathroom.
Best Mexican Resto in Town. I've visited this restaurand several times, I always recommend it.. 'Pozole' is a transport of flavor in your mouth that take you into the core of a market in Mexico city.. Attention is great and prices are average, familiar ambiance where you can bring kids.
Arguably the best authentic Mexican restaurant in town.
