De l'extérieur il n'a pas l'air d'un restaurant. Il faut le savoir pour vouloir y aller. Ce restaurant m'a été conseiller par une amie à moi et je ne regrette pas d'y avoir goûter. Jai pris une soupe tonkinoise aux crabes et un rouleau frit. J'étais surpris que la serveuse m'a apris que leur cuisine n'utilise pas de MSG. Le decor est simple dans une ambiance familiale. J'y retourne bientôt c'est certain.
Vraiment très agréable endroit pour partager un bon moment entre amis et découvrir la vraie et authentique cuisine vietnamienne. Tout est bon du début à la fin! De l'entrée au dessert et jusqu'au service. À recommandé vivement! 💝😉👍
I have been going to this place for years and countless of times. Over the years i have brought many friends and none was ever disappointed. There is a item in the menu suitable for everyone. I am a hard fan on the wonton soup and always ask the chef to add tomyum to the broth, which makes it nice and spicy. The fried imperial rolls here are the best i have tried. I also love the crispy chicken there serve with rice. The place is a very relax family environment, staff are friendly and helpful. To sum up they must be doing something right to be able to stay open for now i believe 40 years.
J'adore la nourriture vietnamienne, j'en mange déjà tout les jours. On y sert de très bon plats, beaucoup de choix... Le poulet frit est un de mes plats préféré.
Bref, l'essayer c'est l'adopter!
I think they may have put some addictive ingredients in the Spring salad ..or its just because its sooooo good but im litteraly addicted to it. Good food...low price...in front of Juliette et Chocolat if you want to finish your delicious meal with some chocolate...its perfect!!! You must try it!
Really yummy food. 14 Prince Arthur consistently delivers great food and service. Be sure to try out their hot and sour soup, cubes de beouf, assiette de printemps, and crispy chicken. mmmyum!

Solid, great value, authentic.. I've lived in the Plateau area for a few years, but until today, I had yet to find an authentic, reasonably priced Vietnamese restaurant.
After having worked out, I was famished and was craving a savoury yet healthy dinner. 14 rue Prince Arthur did not disappoint.
Across from Rouge nightclub and right next to the Old Orchard pub, it's easy to miss this nondescript, no-frills restaurant.
I started with the delicious and satisfying Peanut Butter dumplings to assuage my immediate hunger, washed down with a reasonably priced, large can of Asahi beer.
For the main course, I had the chicken Spring plate, with an extra Imperial roll added in (only $.50 more). It was delicious, fresh, and amply sized...I couldn't finish the plate. Our waitress, Jade, was attentive, chatty and super nice. She informed us that the restaurant has been in business for 36 years - they must be doing something right to stay open for almost four decades in that neighborhood!
If you're looking for a satisfying, inexpensive authentic Vietnamese meal in the Plateau, look no further. I'll definitely going back - the home-made Imperial rolls are to die for, and I look forward to trying their Pho (soups) on a cold, blustery Montreal winter night in the near future...
UN RÉGAL. De tous les restaurants asiatiques et vietnamiens que j'ai essayé sur le plateau et dans le centre-ville, le 14 est définitivement mon préféré. Le service est chaleureux, l'ambiance est tranquille et la nourriture, délicieuse. Les aliments sont frais et les plats sont délicieux. Les assiettes de printemps, les rouleaux impériaux (faits maison) et les soupes tonkinoises sont à essayer! En plus, il est possible d'arranger les plats comme on le souhaite, par exemple, sans coriandre, ce qui est très accomodant pour tous les goûts ! L'essayer, c'est l'adopter ; )
Best for vegans too. As a vegan/vegetarian, I've tried eating at a number of Vietnamese restaurants. I've found that most of them have a meat broth, or have some meat in their spring rolls. This restaurant respects vegetarians by offering vegetable broth in their soupe tonkinoise, as well as vegetarian spring rolls. My favourite Vancouver Vietnamese restaurant serves mung sprouts and loads of basil on the side to add to the soup. I wish this restaurant would do that as well.The service is usually good, it arrives quickly, and the price is right. It is my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Montreal.
Le 14 is the best, le meilleur !. Moi le 14 Prince Arthur est mon resto vietnamien préféré ! Je peux même rêvasser de l'assiette que je vais manger comme par exemple je rêve : de la soupe tonki au boeuf ou canard, l'assiette du printemps au boeuf, du poulet croustillant et évidemment les fameux et exceptionnel rouleux frits ! Ce sont les meilleurs à montréal, et de loin en plus ! Ce resto est chaleureux,familial, sympathique et surtout unique ! Toute ma petite famille adore ce resto, d'ailleurs il est le préféré de ma petite fille. Bref, quand on va au 14, on veut y retourner !
