It's been weeks you've been just eating salads and kale smoothies. One night, you crack. Maybe it's your cheat day, maybe you just can't take it anymore. You know what you want, and it's a thick, greasy, Pendeli's pizza.
You call the number, it rings just enough times for you to wonder if they'll even answer. Finally a deep throaty voice comes out of the phone: "...Pendeli's?", the voice says un-enthusiastically. He's embarrassed for you. Nevertheless you press on.
"One large pepperoni pizza?" You say nervously.
"That's all?" The man asks. He knows you're not done yet.
"And a french fry. How long will it be?"
"1 hour", he grumbles. No big promises here.
Finally it arrives. You pay the man, and take your greasy, guilty pleasure inside. The structural integrity of the pizza box has already been compromised by the colossal meal inside. The brown paper bag of french fries is translucent from the oily fries, looking as if at any moment it'll rip open, fries bursting out frantically like troops on the beach at the battle of Normandy. You open the pizza box and gaze at it's contents: Cheese as thick as the crust, pepperoni as thick as the cheese! One might call this a bread cheese and meat casserole instead of a pizza!
When all is said and done, you sit there rubbing your belly, sipping your Pepsi, and telling yourself this was just a momentary lapse of will, but the Pendeli's man knows you'll be back again, and you know it too.

We have been ordering for a few (couple years for Pendeli's, taste is a choice of every individual).I Respect.For us:Pizza Is fresh, taste is fresh, service is cordiale, I always ask for ETA for delivery and (Damm) they beat it.we love the taste of their pizza. Staff always pleasant and professional.For us BEST PIZZA in LAVAL.I Never put or comment on reviews but don't get people who want to down a great business, maybe they would be better getting their Thursday or Friday spontaneous meals @ a burger joint near their place.service Great, delivery staff awesome always in a good mood (always curious) a + Great, PR Great,thanks guys
Wonderful little restaurant. I wandered in here with a friend for lunch on a cold Sunday afternoon. There was no one else at the restaurant, which is not surprising considering it was -20 outside. Service was quick and the food was delicious. I have eaten here a few times in the past and the food is always great. The pizza was tasty and there were tons of toppings. I rather a pizza with a lot of toppings versus the places that put a handful with more cheese than anything else. This is definitely a place to come back to again.

I have no idea why people write such bad reviews... I am greek. I love food and I LOVE PIZZA. I was looking for our soon to be regular pizza place when we moved to NDG and we found it... the pizza is classic, thick, yummy, packed with cheese and peperoni. No counting calories here! The services is fine. The cooks are the ones serving you and why would you eat there when it's clearly a takeout joint. I don't get it delivered I rather pick it up. The poutine should be skipped. Their sou@vlaki tough is cheap and delish! Simple, not too much onion good marinade on the meat, tender. Seriously this is a great classic place for quality food!
Good takeout pizza, had the medium pepperoni and all dressed pizzas and it was enough for 4 meals for me. All dressed pizza was the better pizza. Good value on two pizzas, cash only
My favorite pizza...especially with pepperoni. Nothing can compare.

BETTER THAN AVERAGE. Used to order from here a lot....still do occasionally because it's close to home. Still...doesn't hold a candle to Manzos
Pendelis is simply the best!. You won't find a better pizza in Montreal than Pendeli's pizza at the Cote St-Luc location. They have been making pizza like forever and they have it down to a science. Delivery is very quick, however you can also eat in but don't expect a dining experience, old tables & chairs and usually no waitress, but the tasty pizza more than makes up for it.
