We ordered food for takeout. When I came to pick up, the place looked clean and very simple but, it's definitely not the place to dine in. The host/owner was very silent, reserved, quiet, maybe cold... I wasn't expecting a "party" but, for a moment I asked myself "what's wrong with him?".
The food, however, was very good and tasted very authentic. This place gets good reviews everywhere which, I was a bit skeptical about but, it deserves the most part, I agree.
Nevertheless, I think it was a bit too expensive compared to other Indian restaurants with similar quality. I mean, portions weren't as big and by that I mean, they were small! I know that good Indian food can get expensive but, the portion-price ratio was off, at least for takeout. Also, the dishes that we ordered were all saucy and none came with sides so, we had to pay for everything.
Awesome food! Although, you have to keep in mind that you go there for the food experience and not the ambiance. The place looks like a high school cafeteria...
Please take them down from the "delivery" option. That restaurant does not deliver and I learned it the bad way. 😡
Amazing food. Very good service . From the outside this place looks scary however don't let that fool you. The food is beyond tasty .. A new favorite resto of mine. Def will be going back
Great experience. I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend and we had a great dinner. We enjoyed drinks and took the suggestion from the sever to try a vegetarian appetizer which we did and it was delicious. I'm sorry but I didn't recall the name. We them shared nan bread, rice, butter chicken and lamb all which was very good and fresh. this is a good place to go.
Good indian food. The restaurant's façade and name are misleading. I always imagined this to be a sort-of run-down bakery. The interior is clean, simple and brightly lighted. The food is authentic although not very spicy. Locals stop by to pickup takeout, always a good sign in a neighborhood like park-ex!
Best indian restaurant in montreal. Owner is sweet. Good service. Good price. Amazing food. Absolutely love it.
Wow!!!
Excellent. The Indian selection and food was amazing and the price was very affordable. Very nice service.
Definitely a place to return, often...
